1. AIMS
I practised my study in a little primary school at Adaklı village. For many years l have been
working in this school and through this time l have realized that students feel themselves
unimportant , worthless. Whenever we tell them we have a competition which is country wide
they say ‘ No we don’t have any chance among the other children ‘. This situation makes me
feel very sad so l decided to do sth for my children.
In order to make them happy firstly l have to convince them to belive ‘they are really
precious’. They are not alone in this village and l will prove this to them.
2. TARGET
My first main aim is fulfill my civil responsibility and the second one is to show children how
precious they are.
3. ACTIVITY
In order to help my children l have to find Money so l tried my chance at social networks.
I had to make people aware of my school’s and children’s condition.
At last some volunteer people and institution heard our voice. PTT and a few different textile
brand accepted to help us.
PTT provided many different stationery materials and we shared them with our children.
And the textile trademarks provided jackets for our children.
4. PROBLEMS
While l was trying to find financial support l faced with many problems. When l demanded
help people hesitated to help me because they wanted to be sure about whether their charity
reach to children or not. Persuasion was not easy for me.
Another problem was that children felt humiliated when l gave them their jackets and
stationery materials. They looked at me as if they were angry to me and they rejected their
presents. They said that ‘ we are not in need of ‘.
5. FEEDBACK
At the beginning l want to say that l feel very happy to have such an experience. Seeing the
happiness of my children was priceless.
After a week of my community service some of my parents came to school in order to talk
with me. I worried because l thought that my parents would accuse me to embrass their
children. But suddenly they appreciated me and gave me a flower.
I felt grateful to the PTT and the textile marks because they believed me and accepted to help
me.
I will never forget this experience, happiness of my children and parents. I proud of myself and
with the people who believed me.
