Description
CAPA is a application developed to improve the organization's processes
taken to eliminate causes of non-conformities or other undesirable
situations .It focuses on the systematic investigation of the root causes
of identified problems or identified risks in an attempt to prevent their
recurrence (for corrective action) or to prevent occurrence (for
preventive action).
Corrective actions are implemented in response to customer
complaints, unacceptable levels of product non-conformance, issues
identified during an internal audit, or adverse or unstable trends in
product and process monitoring such as would be identified by
statistical process control (SPC). Preventive actions are implemented in
response to the identification of potential sources of non-conformity.
 Clearly identified sources of data which identify problems that
will be investigated.

Description
RAS [Relocation Accounting System]
The application Relocation Accounting System (RAS) captures the
details of the expenses incurred by the Customer (Transferee) during
relocation process.
For Example, Temp accommodation, trips between departure and
destination locations etc.
The customer produces an ‘Expense Report’ to Cendant Mobility.
Supplier (Third party or Van liner) for charges of moving the
households of the transferee.
The Supplier produces the Invoice showing the expenses for the move.
Features:
 The Relocation Accounting System is contained within the
Mobility Business Suite, along with the Initiation Center
application.
 Some of the features to note in the application include:
 A consolidated database - All RAS data resides in one database.
“Initiation Center” features (previously known as “Service
Center”) and Relocation Accounting features are all integrated
into the Cendant Explorer interface.

Brief
Description
RAS Payroll is a client server application that generates Payrolls for a
user. Payroll outputs will be in the form of text files, excel, CSV or
crystal reports. RAS Payroll application has 2 entities :
 RP Client: It takes inputs (Client No, Policy, W2Yr etc.) from the
user and sends the request to RP server to get the expense
details for the client.
 RP Server: It doesn’t have user interface. It reads data from
database and applies certain filters. Then writes the data to
session (staging) tables and sends back messages on
completion of each step to RP Client application.

Brief
Description
Cartus for its relocation businesses maintains two critical OLTP
application called HexRe (Home Express) and RAS (Relocation
Accounting System). These 2 desktop 24X7 applications are running in
various Cartus locations globally.
HexRe is a Client Server application and is responsible for one of the
most important business function of CARTUS i.e. ‘Moving Services’.
HexRe stands for Home Express Re-Platform. The user records the
details about customer’s household goods shipment and once it gets
completed, the Order for Service is used for booking the move with a
supplier. This system can handle domestic and international household
goods moves, as well as other various types of moves.

Project: Initiation Centre - RAS Production Support (Jan 2006 – Sept 2007)

Brief
Description
This is a product of Cendant Mobility who is the foremost providers of
Travel and real estate services in the world. They are the world’s
largest real estate brokerage franchisor, and the world’s largest
provider of outsourced corporate employee relocation services; and
leading providers of travel information processing services worldwide.
The Application Initiation Centre (IC) captures the details of the Clients,
Contracts, Customers and the application Relocation Accounting System
(RAS) captures the details of the expenses incurred by the Customer
(Transferee) during the relocation process, Supplier (Third party or Van
liner) for charges of moving the households of the transferee. The
Supplier produces the Invoice showing the expenses for the move.
Some of the features to note in the application include:

IC [Initiation Center]
Initiation Center consists of two separate applications: Client Profile and
Customer File. Client Profile contains all Mobility client contract and
billing information. And supports the client service user roles that are
responsible for managing the client’s contract administration and
contact information.
Customer File is the authorization system for the company. It creates
file numbers and captures general customer data that is shared with
other applications including the Hex-Re, RAS and Cendant Mortgage.

Project: Personal identification information obscure (Oct 2005 – Dec 2005)
Organization: Perot Systems. Client: CARTUS, Danbury, USA.

Brief
Description
Cartus is pioneer in the relocation business across the world. As part of
their business process Cartus collects all the necessary personal
information from their customers prior to the move. Once the relocation
process is completed successfully for that c ustomer Cartus maintains
the processed records for future reference. But the PII information
related to the customer has to be obscured to avoid any misuse of the
data. Hence Cartus came up with the plan to Obscure the PII
information for the customers where their relocation service has been
complete.
PII Obscure project is developed as a single .NET service for obscuring
the PII (Personal Identification Information) data in multiple platforms
like SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase and Mainframe.
The Obscure process is mentioned below :
Customer Identification number is the input for the PII Obscure
Service.
The PII Obscure service fetches the target columns to obscure
from the static table.
Connects to the SQL Server database and obscures the PII data
in all the SQL Server databases.
Connects to the Oracle database and calls the existing Oracle
package to start the obscure.
Connects to the Sybase database and obscures the PII data in
all the Sybase databases.
Connects to the Mainframe database and calls the job which
obscures the PII data in the mainframe.

Brief
Description
PNER stands for Perot New Employee Registration is a web application
used to enter and store new employee information like personal details,
academic information, documents submitted to the company etc.
Technologies
MS Windows XP, .Net 1.1, C#, and MS SQL server 2000.
Responsibilities
Developed “Submitted and Pending documents” module.
Involved in integrating all the modules of the project.
Carried out unit and integration testing of the application.
Overall Role Responsibilities:
Have excellent understanding of the windows application architecture and have exposure
in developing UI modules and classes in VB 6.0, building the application, debugging to
trace issues, integrating with COM components, working with .NET assemblies and
deploying to Windows 2008 servers and VistaWin7 based desktops.
Having worked on .Net Framework and EntityFramework and exposure in developing UI
modules using WPF and MVVM.
9+ years of software development or maintenance experience using Visual Basic 6.0, SQL
Server 2008/2010/2012, Crystal Reports XI, WPF and MVVM and TFS, Bitbucket.
Interact at multiple levels within a customer account and must be able to demonstrate
strong technical skills, thought leadership, and have a commitment to the customer.
Responsible for owning one or more customer applications and tracking defect /
enhancements progress.

Brief Description RAS [Relocation Accounting System] The application Relocation Accounting System (RAS) captures the details of the expenses incurred by the Customer (Transferee) during relocation process. For Example, Temp accommodation, trips between departure and destination locations etc. The customer produces an ‘Expense Report’ to Cendant Mobility. Supplier (Third party or Van liner) for charges of moving the households of the transferee. The Supplier produces the Invoice showing the expenses for the move. These 2 desktop 24X7 applications are running in various Cartus locations globally. HexRe is a Client Server application and is responsible for one of the most important business function of CARTUS i.e. ‘Moving Services’. HexRe stands for Home Express Re-Platform. The user records the details about customer’s household goods shipment and once it gets completed, the Order for Service is used for booking the move with a supplier. This system can handle domestic and international household goods moves, as well as other various types of moves. The Application Initiation Centre (IC) captures the details of the Clients, Contracts, Customers and the application Relocation Accounting System (RAS) captures the details of the expenses incurred by the Customer (Transferee) during the relocation process, Supplier (Third party or Van liner) for charges of moving the households of the transferee. The Supplier produces the Invoice showing the expenses for the move. Some of the features to note in the application include: A consolidated database - All RAS data resides in one database. “Initiation Center” features (previously known as “Service Center”) and Relocation Accounting features are all integrated into the Cendant Explorer interface. IC [Initiation Center] Initiation Center consists of two separate applications: Client Profile and Customer File. Client Profile contains all Mobility client contract and billing information. Role: Developer. Brief Description Cartus is pioneer in the relocation business across the world. As part of their business process Cartus collects all the necessary personal information from their customers prior to the move. Once the relocation process is completed successfully for that c ustomer Cartus maintains the processed records for future reference. But the PII information related to the customer has to be obscured to avoid any misuse of the data. Hence Cartus came up with the plan to Obscure the PII information for the customers where their relocation service has been complete. PII Obscure project is developed as a single .NET service for obscuring the PII (Personal Identification Information) data in multiple platforms like SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase and Mainframe. The Obscure process is mentioned below : Customer Identification number is the input for the PII Obscure Service. The PII Obscure service fetches the target columns to obscure from the static table. Connects to the SQL Server database and obscures the PII data in all the SQL Server databases. Connects to the Oracle database and calls the existing Oracle package to start the obscure. Connects to the Sybase database and obscures the PII data in all the Sybase databases. Connects to the Mainframe database and calls the job which obscures the PII data in the mainframe.
