COLL 300 APU Major Safety and Health Issues Annotated Bibliography
Safety and Health Issues Thesis statement Safety and health issues being the key issues in
the workplace, the organization should maintain procedures that promote safety and health
aspects for its contractors. The research question that led me to this thesis statement The
research questions that led to this thesis statement are; what are the top safety issues in an
organization? What are the duties of management concerning safety and health at the
workplace? In what ways does the management train the employers to make sure that they
have adequate knowledge and skills that make them be excellent in safety and health issues
at work? What questions should an employer ask himself in measuring stability of safety in
the organization? My purpose in writing this paper The objective of this paper is to point
out the three major safety and health issues in the workplace. It will outline the
communicable diseases, workplace violence, and electric dangers as the selected safety
issues (Burke, Clarke and Cooper, 2011). The paper will also give an explanation as to why
employers should play a role in ensuring safety in the organization. What I already know
and my feelings towards the topic Safety in the workplace is a very important issue. Safety
issues, for example, accidents can be prevented if the employees are well prepared and
ready to work together. A hazard like a contagious disease is also preventable if the safety
measures are well incorporated. I have a feeling that the employers have a lot to do in
ensuring SAFETY AND HEALTH ISSUES 2 that the employees work in a protected
environment. What my readers already know and their feelings towards the topic My
readers already know the safety challenges in an organization. My audience needs to
understand that this research paper will be vital for them since, as they begin to work, they
will have an idea about safety measures. Most people feel that safety is a government issue
that should be addressed by state laws. What my readers need to know to understand my
point In my explanation, I believe that organization management is fully responsible for
safety measures (Jain, Leka and Zwetsloot, 2018). The government doesn’t play a role here
because it doesn’t monitor all the practices in an organization. The management should
train the employees on safety and health issues and how to prevent calamities. What
information I need to research and add to my paper I need to work on a few details to add to
this paper. In this case, I will have to work on policies that need to be included in health
management that ensure safety in an organization. I will also include the disaster
management plan by drawing graphs on what the organization should be prepared for.
Lastly, i will conduct research on what should be contained in the system audit protocols to

and preventive medicine with numerous publications in that field. The researchers have
vast experience in matters of occupational health and safety. Oldenburg, on the other hand,
is also a Ph.D. holder and also a researcher at the Melbourne school of population and global
health. The authors are autonomously well versed in the topic to provide credible
information. The publisher of this article is the American journal of health promotion. This
publisher is known for quality peer-reviewed journals in diverse disciplines such as health
promotion while delivering the most current and relevant research information. The
information is available in the SAGE publication pages depicting that the information is
from a stable and reliable site. The information is accurate because it has integrated
research methods to develop viable conclusions after reviewing credible resources such as
electronic databases, Psych Info, and MEDLINE in matters of occupational health and safety
(Harzing, 2010). The information in this article has been peer-reviewed because it has
already been published under the American Journal of Health Promotion, which is known
for publishing peerreviewed articles. The information was published in 2016, meaning that
the information is current and up to date. The information is from the American Journal of
Health promotion website, which was last updated this year. This research wants to identify
the SOURCE EVALUATION 2 viability of integrated approaches in addressing health and
safety issues in the organization in the modern workplace. The study is objective since it
relies on data from workplace intervention targets to collect assessed by the American
college of occupational and environmental medicine guidelines. I feel that the objective

organizations. The author has over 15 years’ experience working with various organizations
and understands issues of healthcare and safety in organizations settings. Robert is the chief
medical officer at the Viridian health management dedicated to promoting preventive
health and safety for employees. The author is well versed in issues of health and safety
within organizations. This information was posted in the Occupational health and safety
magazine issue of 2014. This is a reliable digital and print magazine that seeks to deliver
reliable information in the field of health and safety promotion at the workplace. This
information was published in a digital edition of a trade/professional website to provide
valuable information to organizations and employees about workplace health and safety
issues. The information is available on the OHS website that was updated as recently as
2019. The information seems to be accurate because the magazine is designed to address
issues of worker health and safety in the workplace. The article is comprehensive, with at
least six pages of SOURCE EVALUATION 3 reliable content that provides an objective
perspective from professionals in the field. The article contains at least six references at the
end that the authors retrieved information from. The material is up to date as the article
was published in 2014 while the website was last updated in 2019. The authors have
covered the issue from a professional perspective without any bias. The authors have also
quoted various authors and researchers from autonomous bodies and government agencies
that provide reliable information on issues in this field, such as the national institute of
occupational safety and health (Folk, 2012). The authors encourage the use of synergy to
promote and ensure a safer working environment for employees, and hence, I do not detect

COLL 300 APU Major Safety and Health Issues Annotated Bibliography Safety and Health Issues Thesis statement Safety and health issues being the key issues in the workplace, the organization should maintain procedures that promote safety and health aspects for its contractors. The research question that led me to this thesis statement The research questions that led to this thesis statement are; what are the top safety issues in an organization? What are the duties of management concerning safety and health at the workplace? In what ways does the management train the employers to make sure that they have adequate knowledge and skills that make them be excellent in safety and health issues at work? What questions should an employer ask himself in measuring stability of safety in the organization? My purpose in writing this paper The objective of this paper is to point out the three major safety and health issues in the workplace. It will outline the communicable diseases, workplace violence, and electric dangers as the selected safety issues (Burke, Clarke and Cooper, 2011). The paper will also give an explanation as to why employers should play a role in ensuring safety in the organization. What I already know and my feelings towards the topic Safety in the workplace is a very important issue. Safety issues, for example, accidents can be prevented if the employees are well prepared and ready to work together. A hazard like a contagious disease is also preventable if the safety measures are well incorporated. I have a feeling that the employers have a lot to do in ensuring SAFETY AND HEALTH ISSUES 2 that the employees work in a protected environment. What my readers already know and their feelings towards the topic My readers already know the safety challenges in an organization. My audience needs to understand that this research paper will be vital for them since, as they begin to work, they will have an idea about safety measures. Most people feel that safety is a government issue that should be addressed by state laws. What my readers need to know to understand my point In my explanation, I believe that organization management is fully responsible for safety measures (Jain, Leka and Zwetsloot, 2018). The government doesn’t play a role here because it doesn’t monitor all the practices in an organization. The management should train the employees on safety and health issues and how to prevent calamities. What information I need to research and add to my paper I need to work on a few details to add to this paper. In this case, I will have to work on policies that need to be included in health management that ensure safety in an organization. I will also include the disaster management plan by drawing graphs on what the organization should be prepared for.
