2. YOUR REASONS
For It
• Police are trustworthy
authority figures that
shouldn’t have a lot of
rules placed on them
• Protects guilty people
• It becomes hard to
convict a criminal,
making it hard for the
society
Against It
• Police will act
unprofessionally
• It will protect innocent
people
• People won’t trust the
court when they find
out evidence has been
illegally obtained
I agree, that it does make it hard for society, but the police will* get to
the bottom of a situation, even if it means turning the society inside out.
Without it, I agree that some police officers will violate the rights of the
accused, but they care about the society as much as I do!
3. I DON’T AGREE…
• I believe, if abolished, the police will act
unprofessionally.
• Something tells me that because they have a
badge and a gun, they will get a little out of hand.
4. MY DECISION
• I’m against the legislation!
• My Reason
• We need as much evidence to convict the accused
• We need to get to the very bottom
