1. Cultivate Talent
Engaging Talent, Building Trust, Inspiring Change
Driving up team performance in challenging times
Using the SDI Strengths Deployment Inventory® to focus and reenergise teams
Many organisations are realigning their businesses in order to remain competitive,
including major structural changes and/or a reduction in people numbers. When going through
this change process, it can be easy to under-estimate the ‘human’ impact, with the potential that
staff can become disengaged, fearful of more change, lacking motivation and in mourning for the
way things ‘used to be’.
We have designed this workshop specifically for use with teams that have recently formed or
changed as a result of restructure or redundancy and aims to help participants ‘re-connect’ with
colleagues as quickly as possible, using proven theory and practical exercises.
It is designed to have an immediate impact on the communication and understanding within the
team by linking learning into an agreed, practical action plan. This action plan would normally
include not only how they work together, but also how they can communicate more effectively with
customers in order to win new business.
This workshop will help individuals and teams:
Achieve a greater level of self-awareness of how behaviours effect team dynamics and
performance
Improve self confidence by understanding personal strengths and how to use them effectively
Improve communication and deal with conflict more effectively to get better results
Understand what team members need from one another to help the group be more effective.
Create a ‘common language’ to improve communication and appreciate that different styles
are essential
Understand the ‘make up’ of the team – where are the gaps that are holding them back?
Apply the learning to the workplace immediately through an action plan agreed by the team
on the day
What is the SDI?
Strengths Deployment Inventory® is a proven tool that
explores personal motivations and strengths. We utilise it in
these interactive workshops to explore how individuals like to
work when things are going well, and what happens when
things are not going so well. Once teams are more personally
aware, they can reflect and explore what this means when
working in a team, with customers, partners and suppliers in
order to improve performance
How much will it cost?
We have designed this programme as a 1 day event, to provide a blended learning and action plan
session for your team(s) in order to maximise impact and payback for the
business. We are also happy to design an afternoon/evening session where required to
minimising business disruption. We recommend a maximum of 12 delegates at each workshop.
The guideline investment for this event is £1,380 + VAT, which represents excellent value,
especially if all 12 places are filled
