Organizational Description and Issue to be solved
McDonald's was a food company that was invented in the year
1940. The company has currently registered to have opened
more than 34000 restaurants across the globe. During its
initiation periods, McDonald's opened loads of shops in
America and parts of Europe. M.C. Donald’s is a private
2. company that is mainly owned by shareholders ("Mcdonald’s
Business Type and Purpose," 2020). The principal founder of
this food company was Maurice M.C. Donald’s and Richard,
and until to date, the company does not receive any financial
support from the government. The company is currently being
led by Don Thompson, who is the company's CEO and Andrew J
McKenna as the company's chairperson.
The chairperson and the CEO of this large scale food holding
company are the primary decision-makers of this company. The
organizational structure has assigned the CEO and the chairman
of this task. This company is one of largest fast-moving foods
company in the globe, which means that McDonald’s business is
the leading food producer which is later one supplied to various
parts of the world by other large and small businesses
("Mcdonald’s Business Type and Purpose," 2020). M.C.
Donald’s market settles at both tertiary and secondary levels
since the company does not produce every piece of food they
sell. Still, they also combine various products to make a
complete and sellable product. M.C. Donald’s is a restraint
sector business, a franchise and a public limited company.
Despite M.C. Donald’s being a large scale fast-food dealing
company, the company has registered some critical issues that
have led to the loss of a large number of customers and loss of
trust from both royal and prime customers. Some of the vital
challenges that this company is currently facing are Slow and
Inaccurate Services and price sensitivity. Slow and Inaccurate
services resulted after the company agreed to introduce new

customers experienced slowed down customer services hence
lacking flexibility. As a result of these new products included in
the company's menu, the prices raised drastically without the

3. customers opting to buy foods from other company's such as
KFC.
McDonalds Corporate Culture
MC Donald’s corporate culture extensively supports the overall
co9mpnays position and supports its ultimate goals
("McDonald’s Organizational Culture Analysis - Panmure
Institute," 2020). Since M.C. Donald’s food industry is one of
the largest fast-moving food companies that have a large
number of customers in a year, the resultant uses its
organizational culture to attract a large number of customers
across the globe. The company's corporate culture extensively
emphasizes diversity and inclusion, which have led to the
comma employing a large number of people and opening various
restaurant outlets in multiple regions across the globe. This
diversity and inclusion, which is strongly supported by the
organizational culture, have resulted in the company indicating
a progressive increase in their profit margin over the past and
recent years. M.C. Donald’s corporate culture highly supports
learning which a have resulted to innovation within the
organization as a result of this innovation the company has been
able to achieve their various goals and objectives in a short
period. This company's corporate culture is the primary
determinant and strengthens that have resulted in the ultimate
success of the company.
Areas of weakness
The McDonalds corporate culture is robust since it has made it
easier for the comma to develop in a short period. At the same,
the company has improved its service qualities through
Individual learning, People Centricity and organizational
learning ("McDonald’s Organizational Culture Analysis -
Panmure Institute," 2020). Despite the company having an
influential corporate culture that is significantly supporting its
overall international operation, the literature has not
emphasized on individual excellence and performance. As a
4. result of this, the company can be recommended to make the
necessary changes that will result from increasing high-quality
output and personal excellence improvements. As seen from the
company's organization, their corporate culture is mainly
emphasizing the company's growth, which has neglected the
development of the quality of services offered to the customers.
Hence we can justify that the M.C. Donald’s corporate culture
is the main trigger that has led to slow and inaccurate services
to be provided to the customers since the company's culture is
highly emphasizing on inclusion and diversity and other factors
that can lead to the overall growth of the company in the
international markets.
Possible
Solution
s
The leading solution to the problems facing M.C. Donald’s
company is the improvement of its organizational culture ("5
problems facing McDonald’s | The Star", 2020). The culture of
this organization is mainly emphasizing the overall growth of
the company in the international markets and has neglected the
aspect of encouraging excellence in the performance of the
individual level. As a result of this poor culture, the customers
of this organization have faced a significant challenge of slow
and inaccurate services from the company; flexibility was
undermined by the literature since the culture is actively
encouraging diversity and inclusion of various employees and
5. products. Thus the central possible adjustment and
improvement that can be advocated McDonalds Organization are
to emphasize excellence, which will ensure high and quality
output in its inclusive organizational culture.
