2. Teacher Roles
My roles are very simple, I will be mostly responsible
for providing the basic guidelines for the students so
that they are successful in my classroom.
Students may seek my office hours if they are ever in
trouble with their work, which are available at
anytime after school.
I will offer them extra credit if they need to do so in
order to improve their grade.
3. Student Roles
The students are responsible for their work and to
turn in their assignments on time at the appropriate
turn in date.
I will provide group assignments where the students
can work in groups to help solve problems and to
gain better knowledge from their fellow classmates.
I will assure that each group will have plenty of time
to work on their problems and assignments so that
they can complete it on time.
If a student is troubled with a particular problem it is
their job to come and talk to me.
4. Role of the Parent
As a parent, it is your responsibility to make sure
your child is completing his or her assignments at
home and makes sure that they understand my
assignments.
I will provide your child the assigned homework
assignments online to complete as told so.
I will also make sure that these assignments don’t
take up a lot of time so that they can practice on their
own to succeed in my class.
7. Content Questions
What types of methods could we Geometry in our
every day lives?
What are the different concepts of Geometry?
How did Geometry get invented?
8. Project-Based Learning
Project Based Learning is the idea that everything is
learned about yourself or from personal experiences.
Many students enjoy this type of learning because it
is a very involved and fun type of learning. Most of
the learning is hands on and will help the students
out by better understanding the material.
It is very helpful to students because they can work
in groups and better understand the material.
