Which is the best method to teach among the student
Scaffolding : The method of scaffolding is prepared by Vygotsky
Scaffolding is : Provide assistance to a large number of children during the early
stages of learning the child then takes over the responsibility growing as soon as he can
do it. The method of scaffolding is very effective to help the teacher to teach student in
the class. Scaffolding makes the student and the teacher cooperative in learning.
Scaffolding method will make the teacher better understand how to create a good
atmosphere in the class and make the students interest to their lesson. In this method
the teacher will prepare materials that really motivate student. This method was created
by Vygotsky, he said through this method, the student is developing mentally because
they will be form of character and they will be helped by the teachers in doing their
tasks. Teachers will make the students free to think. And they will always be guided in
doing their tasks. In this case they also will be set up in one group. In their group they
will utter their opinions freely and they will help each other. If students do not
understand the lesson, the teacher will explain the lesson before they begin their study,
or the teacher will ask their friends have been able to help the less fortunate.
When we finish teach the student by using scaffolding, there are some benefit for
the. For instance:
1. Motivate and interest students with associate learning task it means: when
we teach them they will feel very interest and feel motivated. From they will
have spirits to learn they study.
2. Simplify the task of learning so that it can be managed and can be reached by
children. (Menyederhanakan tugas belajar sehingga bisa lebih terkelola dan
bisa dicapai oleh anak). When we simply the lesson to the student and simply
the assignment that we would like to give them they will easy do it in their
home.
3. (Provides the instructions to help the child focus on achieving goals. When we
give the clear instructions to the student it will help them to fulfill their
achievement in their study.
4. Reduce frustration or risk: when we teach them by scaffolding they will not
feel frustration because this method really effective to help student not make
them burden but make them easy to think.
5. Giving the model and clearly define expectations regarding the activities to be
carried out.
6. By using scaffolding by this step, the student will easy to understand the
study and they will easy carry out the lesson.
The purpose of this method are to make the student and the teacher
cooperative in the class. And the teacher will help by Scaffolding method. And
in the class the student will grouping and their group they will help each other.
