This document summarizes immunization data from the WHO European Region in 2017-2018. It finds that while DTP3 and MCV1 coverage remains over 90% on average, coverage has declined in some countries. Over 500,000 children remain unvaccinated or under-vaccinated with DTP-containing vaccines and over 800,000 children remain unvaccinated for MCV1. MCV2 coverage is lower, with 18 countries reporting less than 90% coverage. National immunization systems have room for improvement as well, as not all countries meet WHO criteria for factors like having a national immunization technical advisory group.
