1. Your Time To Die?
Ecclesiastes 7
The Trail’s End- by Bonnie Parker
Bonnie Parker gave this poem to her mother less than a month before she was killed.
They don't think they're toosmart or desperate
they know that the law always wins.
They've been shot at before;
but they do not ignore,
that death is the wages of sin.
Some day they'll go down together
they'll bury them side by side.
To few it'll be grief,
to the law a relief
but it's death for Bonnie and Clyde.
Eccl 7:17
17) Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time?
• Every man has an appointment with death.

appointed his bounds that he cannot pass;

shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
Jas 4:14
2. 14) Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour,
that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
3. The timing of that appointment is ultimately up toGod.
Eccl 8:8
8) There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in
the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those
that are given to it.
Rev 9:6
6) And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and
death shall flee from them.
4. There are some things one can do that can have an effect on the timing of that
appointment.
Ps 55:23
23) But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful
men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee.

19) As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.
