7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they
think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things
ye have need of, before ye ask him.

“Vain repetitions” any repetition not engaging the mind under controlof the
spirit of man is vain.
Phil 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and
supplication with thanksgivinglet your requests be made known
unto God.
Prov 25:28 He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that
is broken down, and without walls.
Acts 19:34 But when they knew that he was a Jew, all with one voice

10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

everlasting.
Isa 64:8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and
we all are the work of thy hand.
Deut 32:5-6 5 They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children:
they are a perverse and crooked generation. 6 Do ye thus requite the LORD, O foolish
people and unwise? is not he thy father that hath bought thee? hath he not made thee,
and established thee?
Deut 32:18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that
formed thee.
Matt 6:31-32 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we
eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly
Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

Thy kingdom come…
“Thy” = Father’s kingdom.
1Cor 15:25-28 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies
under his feet.
26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all
things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did
put all things under him.
28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son
also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that
God may be all in all.
Eph 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be
the head over all things to the church,
Kingdom of God:
Luke 17:20-21 20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees,
when the kingdomof God should come, he answeredthem and
said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the
kingdomof God is within you.
Matt 3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdomof heaven is at
hand.
Matt 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent:
for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
John 3:3-8 3 Jesus answeredand said unto him, Verily, verily, I say
unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom
of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old?
can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be
born?[Nicodemus just proved he couldn’t see it]
4. 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born
of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the
Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born
again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearestthe sound
thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so
is every one that is born of the Spirit.
The Fathers desire is to get the Son on the throne (Mil.); the Son’s desire is
to perfect a perfect gift for the Father (Eternity).
Matt 6
11 Give us this day our dailybread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the
kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Vs 12 not Church-age: No Christian is forgiven on the basis of forgiving others; he
is forgiven and cleansed, when he judges his own sin and confesses it to Jesus the
judge.
1Cor 11:30-33 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among
you, and many sleep.
31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we
should not be condemned with the world.
33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one
for another.
1John 1:9-10 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to
forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his
word is not in us.
5. Eph 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving
one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
A Jew under Christ’s earthly ministry (at this time Mat. 6, and Mil.) obtains
forgiveness on a conditional basis (when he is broughtto the council or before the
judge-Mat5:22)
Gen 18:25 That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the
righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the
wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do
right?
Prov 24:11-12 11 If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn
unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; 12 If thou sayest,
Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart
consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and
shall not he render to every man accordingto his works?
Matt 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his
brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and
whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the
council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell
fire.
Matt 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and
with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
This prayer is made up of 7 petitions as is the case many times in the Bible the #7
is broken down by 3+4.
Three petitions God-ward and four man-ward which also defines the numbers
3 and 4. Three is the Godhead or Gods signature. Four is earth as in the 4
corners of the earth.
In Mat 13 Jesus gives 3 parables to the disciples and then 4 to the
multitude.

The seven letters to the churches in Rev. are divided into 4 addressed in
ch.2, and 3 in ch.3.

13 ….For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.
Amen.
Only a Bible gives this definitive statement. “Translations” either add a note of
doubt to its authority or omit it altogether. God declares the future; man is
limited to the present or his imagination.
The devil thinks he owns this world:
Matt 4:8-9 8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceedinghigh
mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the
glory of them;
9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall
down and worshipme.
Luke 4:6-7 6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give
thee, and the glory of them: for that is deliveredunto me; and to
whomsoever I will I give it.
7 If thou therefore wilt worshipme, all shall be thine.
Just becauseJesus has not repossessed earth and all its kingdoms doesn’t mean
he doesn’t havethe title deed.
Isa 37:16 O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the
cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of
the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.
7. Ps 24:1-2 1 A Psalmof David. The earth is the LORD'S, and the
fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and establishedit upon the
floods.
Ps 89:11 The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the
world and the fulness thereof, thou hast foundedthem.
Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and
that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or
dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by
him, and for him:
