4 Answer not a fool accordingto his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.
5 Answer a fool accordingto his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.
Dummies That Don’t speak
Ps 38:13 But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that
openeth not his mouth.
Proper thing for a dumb man to do is not play like he can speak. No point in
explaining what you don’t know.
1Pet 2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he
suffered, he threatenednot; but committed himself to him that
judgeth righteously:
Ezek 3:26 And I will make thy tongue cleave to the roof of thy mouth, that
thou shalt be dumb, and shalt not be to them a reprover: for they are a
rebellious house.
Let God choose when you “play” dumb. Even if you have somethingto say
(you are not your own) you need God’s permission to say it.
Ps 36:12 There are the workers of iniquityfallen: they are cast down,
and shall not be able to rise.
Hos 4:17 Ephraimis joinedto idols: let him alone.
Mic 3:7 Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners
confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no
answer of God.

Exod 4:11 And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or
who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the
LORD?
Sanity is controlled by God not man’s determination, or education. Your
requirement to speak has nothingto do with your perceived ability.
Ps 51:15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth
thy praise.
Isa 6:7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath
touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin
purged.
Jer 1:9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth.
And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy
mouth.
Ps 39:2 I was dumb with silence, I heldmy peace, even from good; and
my sorrow was stirred.
An ignorant dummy stays silent when he could speak good.
Acts 4:20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen
and heard.
“See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil; is only ½ the story See God’s
word, Hear God’s word= Speak God’s word.
Dummies That Do Speak
Prov 31:8 Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are
appointed to destruction.

It is ignorance to have wisdom and not help someone with it.
Prov 24:10-12 10 If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength
is small.
11 If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and
those that are ready to be slain;
12 If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that
pondereththe heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul,
doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man
according to his works?
Esth 4:13-16
13 Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with
thyself that thou shalt escape in the king's house, more than all the
Jews.
14 For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall
there enlargementand deliverance arise to the Jews from another
place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and
who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time
as this?
15 Then Esther bade them return Mordecai this answer,
16 Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and
fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I
also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the
king, which is not accordingto the law: and if I perish, I perish.
Ezek 33:22 Now the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening, afore
he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to
me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.
If the Lord doesn’t open your mouth what comes out will be dumb.
Ezek 3:27 But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and
thou shaltsay unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; He that heareth,

let him hear; and he that forbeareth, let him forbear: for they are a
rebellious house.
Ezek 24:27 In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is
escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb: and thou
shalt be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
Mark 7:37 And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all
things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.
You will always be a dummy in comparison to God. Be sure to be an
obedient dummy; speak when He says speak. God gave us his word so we
could know what to speak.
Mark 6:51 And he went up unto them into the ship; and the wind
ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure,
and wondered.
Acts 2:7-8 7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, sayingone to
another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were
born?
Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and
perceivedthat they were unlearned and ignorantmen, they
marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been
with Jesus.
Num 22:21 And Balaamrose up in the morning, and saddled his ass, and
went with the princes of Moab.
2Pet 2:16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with
man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
You are never too wise to learn from those under you.

2Sam 16:10-12 10 And the king said, What have I to do with you, ye
sons of Zeruiah? so let him curse, because the LORD hath said unto
him, Curse David. Who shall then say, Wherefore hast thou done so?
11 And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son,
which came forth of my bowels, seeketh my life: how much more
now may this Benjamite do it? let him alone, and let him curse; for
the LORD hath bidden him.
12 It may be that the LORD will look on mine affliction, and that
the LORD will requite me good for his cursing this day.
Be a wise dummy not an ignorant dummy.
1Cor 1:26-29 26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many
wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the worldto confoundthe
wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confoundthe
things which are mighty;
28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God
chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
