The Midlands Housing Trust Fund, a regional non-profit affordable housing finance entity is seeking
a dynamic person to manage and direct the overall activities of this new nonprofit organization. Experience
in housing development, finance, grants and nonprofit fundraising preferred.
Description:
The Executive Director is responsible for implementing the Midlands Housing Trust Fund strategic goals
and objectives by giving direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization's philosophy,
mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives. The Executive Director will report to the Board of
Directors.
Key Skills Required:
§ Must have skills and ability to learn the technical aspects of Affordable Housing Funding Sources,
Federal Housing Programs, and Real Estate Finance.
§ Experience in community development, affordable housing development, public administration, and
public relations are preferred but not mandatory.
§ Excellent organizational skills a must.
§ Good verbal, writing and marketing skills.
Experience and Education:
§ Experience in strategic planning, community and public relations, capitalization and fundraising and
organizational administration.
§ Bachelors Degree in Public Administration, Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a
related field required.
§ Masters Degree in Public Administration, Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related
field desired.
Salary Range $65,000- $95,000, Hiring Range $65,000 - $75,000
Salary will be based on qualifications.
