This document provides an analysis of land use and parking in the West Central Association (WCA) service area on Chicago's Near West Side. It finds that the Near West Side has experienced significant growth in recent decades and should encourage further development to support economic activity and population gains that benefit the city. Key recommendations include spreading development farther west, improving transit access, and updating parking policies to reflect demand through measures like performance pricing. The analysis focuses on opportunities for additional growth surrounding the Morgan CTA station at the core of the WCA district.
