Transformation in South Africa is everybody's business. Our pain is being turned around as redress for economic exclusion is being addressed. We have a long way to go but we getting there!
2. Our Mission
About
Prosurement
To create a better South Africa by enabling
economic transformation and prosperity for all
The political and socioeconomic model of apartheid South Africa constrained the competitiveness of black-owned
companies by isolating them from the mainstream economy and limiting their access to opportunities for education and
skills development. This legacy of limited opportunities and stunted networks remains an impediment to black
entrepreneurship.
Prosurement aims to reverse the damage done to black-owned business during apartheid through training, skills
development and businesses linkages, resulting in economic growth that will not only improve individual lives
but also stimulate township economies.
These previously disadvantaged communities are riddled with problems such as gangsterism, substance abuse and
violence, brought about by high levels of unemployment and poverty.
The ensuant benefits of our work include enhanced opportunities for increased employment, specifically amongst the
youth, broad-based entrepreneurship opportunities and job creation, not to mention the associated long term economic
and social impact on communities and society as a whole.
We believe that by working together, large and small businesses are able to impact lives
and generate a better South Africa for all.
Our economic growth work brings together the right mix of industry dynamics to unleash broad and inclusive growth.
Building on the fundamental belief that small businesses play vital roles in the value chains at the heart of developing
economies, we focus on financial literacy training and skills development, contributing towards halting and reversing the
high failure rate amongst start-up entrepreneurs.
Our programs endeavour to create long-term commercial sustainability as we work to improve domestic and global
market access, forge links between companies, enhance workforce productivity, expand access to finance, and boost
local value.

3. Business Linkages
What
we do
We create commercial linkages between companies in a value chain. This is an important tool in the Enterprise and
Supplier (ESD) transformation process as it will assist in finding the right suppliers when targeting Preferential
Procurement gaps.
We help large companies enter new markets quickly, expand existing operations, and reduce investment and
operational risks by engaging productively with local vendors and communities.
As a 100% Black-owned and managed business ourselves, we are uniquely positioned to link you with
Black SME’s who have the required levels of expertise, operational capability and
experience to ensure the successful completion of your industry projects, whilst facilitating supply chain efficiencies
and maximising your scorecard ratings.
Our strategic focus is on developing initiatives that deliver on transformational objectives as opposed to mere
compliance and therefore we endeavour to provide Black SME’s with:
Idealised influence – allowing SME’s to emulate role models of successful businesses and entrepreneurs from
previously disadvantaged backgrounds, who have displayed the right behaviours and values in business.
Inspirational motivation – developing transformational leaders who inspire and motivate others
Individualised Consideration – demonstrating genuine concern for the needs and aspirations of SME’s which
brings out the best effort from each individual
Intellectual Stimulation – challenging entrepreneurs to be innovative and creative

decision making and attracting investors
