2. Improvise or Die?
We are living in the most stressful, challenging and rapidly changing period in human history. The tanking of the economy, increasing worker apathy, rapid technological advances, the risk of stagflation and numerous other socio-political-economic factors contribute to place huge strain on business resources to compete more effectively for shrinking markets.
To succeed in this climate requires individuals and companies to think and act quickly, decisively and effectively. Yet humans naturally resist change and fear uncertainty, which leads to the worst kind of response: INACTION! How can we think, act and communicate more effectively in this fast paced and unpredictable globally competitive world?
3.
Think about a situation when you did not know what to do or your team was stuck for answers. What happened? You improvised! You thought creatively, stepped outside of your routine patterns asked different questions and came up with brilliant new solutions! See? You ARE already able to improvise.
The ability to improvise is arguably humanity's most valuable skill and it gives human beings an immense advantage over every other species on the planet. The same is true for nations, corporations, teams and individuals who are able to harness these skills, conquer adversaries and prosper. The only problem is that your competitors are probably just as good, if not better at improvising.
Until now, nobody has helped people look at HOW they improvise, or given them specific tools and exercises to improvise BETTER.
4. What is Workplace Improv?
You may have watched the TV Show: "Who's line is it Anyway?" where the actors make-up lines and scenes on-the-spot from random audience suggestions?
Workplace Improv is a methodology that utilises the same principles and techniques of Improv Comedy to unlock natural instincts in a team to think on their feet, improvise and solve problems creatively and effectively whilst enhancing communication, cohesiveness and focused action.
5. Our Offering

The focus can be on one or any combination of the following topics:

•Change Management
•Public speaking skills
•Conflict Management
•Sales Success and Negotiation skills
7. Capturing and transferring the learning
Every workshop begins with an introduction to set expectations and share participant and facilitator information. We then warm up the group in a way that raises enthusiasm and minimizes the personal challenge of joining in the games. Workshops are broken down into segments of games that focus on different elements of the topic.
Activities are fast-paced, and attendees are constantly energized and involved in different games that require both physical and mental activity. After each game, participants and Workplace Improv facilitators debrief the activities and relate them to workplace needs and experiences. We also offer reinforcement activities to continue learning after the workshop.
8. The experiential format allows individuals to discover new behaviors, and to practice them in a safe, totally creative and fun environment. Debriefing and reinforcement insure that the group’s shared learning translates to success back in the workplace
9. Why should you do It?
Improv is about two or more people achieving a goal within an uncertain framework. Just like everyday life. In Improv there is profound collaboration, even when there may be an element of competition. Business success is a very similar process. It's about individuals and teams succeeding in collaboration.
10. Workplace Improv will help you, through an experiential and fun, laughter filled session, to learn these principles and apply the techniques of Improv Comedy so that you can:
•Improve Communication
