Pt,Maderland Crewing Agency offers a complete range of services connected with crew-manning. We
are dealing with recruitment, screening, selection, and placement of Indonesian seafarers generally
specialized for BulkCarrier, FPSO, Oil/Chemical,Tankers,Cargo ships, Passenger ships, Offshore
Support vessels, and other Special Purpose vessels. All our crews are vetted for good character,
qualifications and experience. Our staffs take care to ensure all crew are suitable for the job
responsibilities and the requirements.
We can supply full crews or individual positions from Master, Deck Officers, Engineer Officers, and
Ratings. We provide ship owners or managers the most highly skilled and qualified Indonesian
seafarer. To meet this standard, our highly recruiting team screens all the selection of crew at all ranks.
Apart from reference checks, preliminary testing and personal interviews were conducted

RECRUITMENT,SCREENING SELECTIONS
Our recruitment process is dedicated to providing crews with maximum expertise and self-sustainable
capability. We hold an extensive database of qualified and experienced Indonesian seafarers. We also
emphasize that our crew members should be able to communicate effectively in English. Our up-to-date
computerized database empowered with a search solutions which help us to find the suitable candidates
quickly. All candidates are screened, qualifications and experiences verified and cross-checked,
furthermore a personal interview has been conducted. In case our Principal wishes to screen selected
candidates personally we welcome Principal’s representatives to interview them.
DOCUMENTS,TRAINING CERTICATES
 Our seafarers meet the very highest technical and operational standards. We conduct thorough verification
of candidate’s documents and certifications, to ensure that this qualification, experience and documents in
order to suit the Principal's strict standard demands. Training and certificates comply with IMO, STCW, ISM,
ISPS and Flag State requirements and always have the necessary experience relevant to the type of vessels for
which the seafarers have been hired. Requirements of the Vessel's Flag Registry administration, crews would
be applied the appropriate flag licenses and corresponding special qualifications or statutory certificates.
MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS
 Our qualified seafarers must have a medical clearance from medical centers
accredited with the respective government bodies of which our Principals vessel
flag. This is to ensure our Principals that the following qualified seafarers
deployed are fit to be duty onboard ship
 DISPATCHING AND TRAVEL ARRANGEMENT
 When the seafarers are suitable and approved by Principal, we communicate
with the Principal to arrange the necessary documents such as Flag State License
(depending on the flag of the vessel), Letter of Guarantee or / and OK to Board,
Article of Agreement, Visa, Air Ticket, and any other requirement in order that
the crew can go from place of origin to country or vessel of destination without
hindrance. As soon as we received the documents required, we will deploy the
seafarers as soon as possible to meet the vessels and to avoid delay. Then we
liaison with local agents regarding flight schedule and other necessary details to
complete pre-arrival formalities with the immigration authorities, of subject
vessel, at the joining port in order that the crews are able to join ship in enough
time for a proper handing/taking over.

Quality, health and safety and the environment is always our priority. Pt,Maderland Gebang Jaya
complies with the highest health and safety standard procedures.
We ensure our personnel have all the valid training and medical documents. And of course, all
maritime crew have the relevant STCW certificates. Pt,Maderland Gebang Jaya ensure that all
national endorsements of the Flag State are met and that personnel are covered by either a private

DRUGS AND ALCOHOL POLICY
Policy for the use of alcohol, drugs and other forbidden narcotic or performance enhancing substances.
Alcohol, drugs ,Narcotics,and other forbidden substances
The use, possession, concealment, transportation, sale, production and supply or offer to supply of alcohol,
drugs ,Narcotics and/or other forbidden substances during the employment period, included the travel to
and from the location, is strictly prohibited. If for any reason the employee /seafarer is suspected of being
in possession of the aforesaid substances, Pt,Sejati7Samudera and its principals, reserve the right to
thoroughly search the employee’s personal possessions and/or work place for proof of possession of these
substances.
Drugs Test
Pt,Maderland Gebang Jaya and its principals retain the right to carry out (drugs) tests on its employees
/seafares for the abovementioned substances. If Pt,Sejati7Samudera or its principals suspects an
employee/seafarers of consuming any forbidden substances, or the employee /seafarer acts in a
dysfunctional way, Pt,Maderland Gebang Jaya and its principals reserve the right to demand that the
employee /seafarer submits himself/herself to undergo a (drugs) test. The majority of our’ principals has a
policy of conducting, with or without cause, unannounced/random (drugs) tests on employees and reserves
the right to carry out these tests either onshore or offshore and at the work place. Employees must be aware,
accept and respect the principal’s policy in this respect. Furthermore, the employee considers the principal’s
policy as incorporated in this policy. It is mandatory for all employees to make themselves available, when
requested, for (drugs) tests. Refusal to comply with this policy could lead to the employee being refused
access to or removal from the work place and to dismissal. The resulting costs incurred will be charged to
the (ex) employee/seafarer.
COMPENSATION AND CONTRACT
The laws governing wage and labor issues in the maritime industry vary depending on the scope of
jobs, location of the work performed and the kind of vessel. Vessel managers are required to enter
into written contracts with each of their seafaring employees. These contracts ideally cover basic
employment terms, including scope and length of employment, duties and responsibilities,
working conditions, on-board conduct rules, annulment of contract and termination, reporting
obligations, medical leave, and rate of compensation.
Qualified seafarers embarking on voyage to foreign shores are required to enter into a written
shipping Articles of Agreement with their agency or employer. A seafaring employee’s life and
wages are protected under certain laws on most vessels and these legal terms have developed over
time to protect the rights of the seafarer. But issues and concerns do arise from time to time
regarding seamen compensation, entitlements, overtime and benefits.

TRAINING & SKILL DEVELOPMENT
Under the International Safety Management Code 2002, all vessel owners are required to ensure that each
ship is manned with qualified, certificated and medically fit seafarers in accordance with national and
international requirements. Owners and ship managers must ensure not only proper procedures in the
selection of sea-going personnel but also demonstrate that these personnel are frequently monitored on
their individual training needs. It is necessary to evaluate whether each crew member has undergone
advanced level training in the necessary areas prior to joining vessels. Here at Pt,Sejati7Samudera, we carry
out extensive checks on individual crew training certificates for validation. All our crewing selectees are
required to confirm to the STCW ‘2010 and industry-required training courses unless the owners require
specific additional upgrade courses.
To confirm to this requirement, ship owners are investing huge amounts of money to set up different types of
training facilities. At Pt,Maderland Crewing Agency we have a fully equipped on-site training facility with
access to a large pool of highly qualified trainers and instructors to ensure proper training of sea-going
personnel. We are able to ensure that ship owners are receiving the best training for their personnel and the
training program confirmation to the internationally recognized standards. Individual crew members are
checked for the validity of the certificates they have and are required to undergo retraining courses if
necessary.
Each of any candidate, recruit or ex-crew is evaluated on previous qualifications and experience, and then
placed in a training group for the necessary skill upgrade. On completion of training, we issue a Certificate of
Training so that the candidate can be processed for his next engagement. If the officer or crew has not taken
the required courses, they are re-scheduled for training at the earliest available opportunity. Training
expenses are borne by either the contracting ship owner or Pt,Maderland Gebang Jaya or shared between
different stakeholders depending on the nature of the course but our company policy requires all sea-going
personnel under our banner to conform to the necessary qualifications.

about policy and strategy. As a Senior Executive Crewing Manager also of Pt,Sejati7Samudera ,He
arranges,manages.sources suitable seafarers for his company”s clients due the requirement criteria, liasing
with the ship owners. coordinate with Indonesian Maritime Training Centre to make sure all crews
certificates valid / updated before propose them to ship owners ,prepare the seafarers travel documents
such as AGREEMENTS,AIR TICKETS,LETTER of GUARANTEE for crews sign on, keep monitoring for crews
on vacation and keep maintaining crews for rotation plans.

2.Cpt. Riyan .SE ( Marine Supt/Operational Manager )
Riyan has graduated from BP2IP Makassar in 2010 and has licensed as master marine,and has many
experiences as master on many offshore oil and gas fleets in with trading area on internationally as :
Malaysia,Thailand,Myanmar,UEA,and Indonesia waters
he joined with Pt,Maderland Gebang Jaya in 2016 to prepare/maintain the ship owner vessels budget,control
the spare part and other consumable materials, check the vessel condition as class requirements, responsible
the validity of vessel certificates
ISM CODE and ISPS implementation , Responsible for managing and implementation of the Integrated
Management System (IMS).ensure vessels meet with the flag state and port state requirements.conduct
audits, review and analyse all vessel operational safety reports. liase with all personnel and make an
interview session with the deck department ‘s applicants succeed pre propose to ship owners

3.ASMAR ABDULLAH.M.MAR.ENG.SE ( Technical Superintendent )
Asmar Abdullah is An electrical engineer by vocation, Asmar has had an illustrious career in the shipping
industry having worked as a Engineer Officer on AHTS DP2 for Go Offshore, the largest state-owned shipping
fleet in Singapore, which was subsequently privatized. During this tenure, he spent two years as a technical
representative and Technical Supt, Asmar joined Pt,Unggul Jaya Abadi as a technical manager looking after
maintenance, repairs and spares supply for the company’s fleet of vessels. He joined in 2016 with Pt,Maderland
Gebang Jaya as a partner and Technical Manager providing clients with a range of technical assistance,
including supply of spares, technical know-how and screening of Engine Department crew. • Work with
Integrity. • Proven Strong leadership. • Team building oriented to achieve company’s Target. • Well knowledge
on develop, implement, monitoring and review of Plan Maintenance System on different kind of vessel. • Good
communication skill in English Having good relationship with classification, supplier,contractor and shipyard. •
Familiar with standard regulation and certification onboard and onshore such as ISPS, SSAS, ISM, IMCA CMID,
OVID, OHSAS, ISM, ISO etc. Familiar with most of trouble shooting and maintenance onboard vessel and

  • 5. RECRUITMENT,SCREENING SELECTIONS Our recruitment process is dedicated to providing crews with maximum expertise and self-sustainable capability. We hold an extensive database of qualified and experienced Indonesian seafarers. We also emphasize that our crew members should be able to communicate effectively in English. Our up-to-date computerized database empowered with a search solutions which help us to find the suitable candidates quickly. All candidates are screened, qualifications and experiences verified and cross-checked, furthermore a personal interview has been conducted. In case our Principal wishes to screen selected candidates personally we welcome Principal’s representatives to interview them.
  • 6. DOCUMENTS,TRAINING CERTICATES  Our seafarers meet the very highest technical and operational standards. We conduct thorough verification of candidate’s documents and certifications, to ensure that this qualification, experience and documents in order to suit the Principal's strict standard demands. Training and certificates comply with IMO, STCW, ISM, ISPS and Flag State requirements and always have the necessary experience relevant to the type of vessels for which the seafarers have been hired. Requirements of the Vessel's Flag Registry administration, crews would be applied the appropriate flag licenses and corresponding special qualifications or statutory certificates.
  • 7. MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS  Our qualified seafarers must have a medical clearance from medical centers accredited with the respective government bodies of which our Principals vessel flag. This is to ensure our Principals that the following qualified seafarers deployed are fit to be duty onboard ship  DISPATCHING AND TRAVEL ARRANGEMENT  When the seafarers are suitable and approved by Principal, we communicate with the Principal to arrange the necessary documents such as Flag State License (depending on the flag of the vessel), Letter of Guarantee or / and OK to Board, Article of Agreement, Visa, Air Ticket, and any other requirement in order that the crew can go from place of origin to country or vessel of destination without hindrance. As soon as we received the documents required, we will deploy the seafarers as soon as possible to meet the vessels and to avoid delay. Then we liaison with local agents regarding flight schedule and other necessary details to complete pre-arrival formalities with the immigration authorities, of subject vessel, at the joining port in order that the crews are able to join ship in enough time for a proper handing/taking over.
  • 8. . QHSE Quality, health and safety and the environment is always our priority. Pt,Maderland Gebang Jaya complies with the highest health and safety standard procedures. We ensure our personnel have all the valid training and medical documents. And of course, all maritime crew have the relevant STCW certificates. Pt,Maderland Gebang Jaya ensure that all national endorsements of the Flag State are met and that personnel are covered by either a private or a state insurance package.   • 9. DRUGS AND ALCOHOL POLICY Policy for the use of alcohol, drugs and other forbidden narcotic or performance enhancing substances. Alcohol, drugs ,Narcotics,and other forbidden substances The use, possession, concealment, transportation, sale, production and supply or offer to supply of alcohol, drugs ,Narcotics and/or other forbidden substances during the employment period, included the travel to and from the location, is strictly prohibited. If for any reason the employee /seafarer is suspected of being in possession of the aforesaid substances, Pt,Sejati7Samudera and its principals, reserve the right to thoroughly search the employee’s personal possessions and/or work place for proof of possession of these substances. Drugs Test Pt,Maderland Gebang Jaya and its principals retain the right to carry out (drugs) tests on its employees /seafares for the abovementioned substances. If Pt,Sejati7Samudera or its principals suspects an employee/seafarers of consuming any forbidden substances, or the employee /seafarer acts in a dysfunctional way, Pt,Maderland Gebang Jaya and its principals reserve the right to demand that the employee /seafarer submits himself/herself to undergo a (drugs) test. The majority of our’ principals has a policy of conducting, with or without cause, unannounced/random (drugs) tests on employees and reserves the right to carry out these tests either onshore or offshore and at the work place. Employees must be aware, accept and respect the principal’s policy in this respect. Furthermore, the employee considers the principal’s policy as incorporated in this policy. It is mandatory for all employees to make themselves available, when requested, for (drugs) tests. Refusal to comply with this policy could lead to the employee being refused access to or removal from the work place and to dismissal. The resulting costs incurred will be charged to the (ex) employee/seafarer.
  • 10. COMPENSATION AND CONTRACT The laws governing wage and labor issues in the maritime industry vary depending on the scope of jobs, location of the work performed and the kind of vessel. Vessel managers are required to enter into written contracts with each of their seafaring employees. These contracts ideally cover basic employment terms, including scope and length of employment, duties and responsibilities, working conditions, on-board conduct rules, annulment of contract and termination, reporting obligations, medical leave, and rate of compensation. Qualified seafarers embarking on voyage to foreign shores are required to enter into a written shipping Articles of Agreement with their agency or employer. A seafaring employee’s life and wages are protected under certain laws on most vessels and these legal terms have developed over time to protect the rights of the seafarer. But issues and concerns do arise from time to time regarding seamen compensation, entitlements, overtime and benefits. TRAINING & SKILL DEVELOPMENT Under the International Safety Management Code 2002, all vessel owners are required to ensure that each ship is manned with qualified, certificated and medically fit seafarers in accordance with national and international requirements. Owners and ship managers must ensure not only proper procedures in the selection of sea-going personnel but also demonstrate that these personnel are frequently monitored on their individual training needs. It is necessary to evaluate whether each crew member has undergone advanced level training in the necessary areas prior to joining vessels. If the officer or crew has not taken the required courses, they are re-scheduled for training at the earliest available opportunity.
