Polar Coordinate System
The polar coordinate system is a two-dimensional coordinate system in which each point on a
plane is determined by a distance from a reference point and an angle from a reference direction.
The reference point is called the pole, and the ray from the pole in the reference direction is the
polar axis.

Eigen values and Eigen Vectors
In linear algebra, an eigenvector characteristic vectorof a linear transformation is a
nonzero vector that changesat most by a scalar factor whenthat lineartransformationisappliedto
it.The corresponding eigenvalue,oftendenotedby LAMBDA,isthe factorbywhichthe eigenvectoris
scaled.
Eigenvalues and eigenvectors are only for square matrices. Eigenvectors are by definition nonzero.
Eigenvaluesmaybe equal tozero. We do not considerthe zerovectortobe an eigenvector:since A 0
= 0 = λ 0 for every scalar λ , the associated eigenvalue would be undefined.
