• A Promotion typically represents a high-level marketing plan for
particular products or product lines
• Promotion includes separate Sales deals for each product line. With in
a Sales deal for a product line, customer might be able to promote the
products using different types
• If the Sales deal is assigned to promotion, the condition record also
contains the number of promotion. It enables to list and analyze all the
condition records that refer to a specific promotion

Business Advantages
• Coupons is an Article in IS-Retail
• Sales transaction in which special conditions are granted
when certain products are bought together.
• The conditions can be special prices, fixed discounts,
percentage discounts or free-goods discounts. Quantity-based
and value-based scales can be created for the conditions.
• A bonus buy can either be a multi-deal or a combination deal.
• Customer can chose a better deal when a two or more
promotions running on a single product
• Sale Price of the material revert back to normal at the end of
the promotion
