OF CONDUCT

PRELIMINARY STATEMENT
Dedication to study, respect for authority, strict
observance of the rules and regulations of the
school and unfailing courtesy are expected at all
time of all LASC students. The administration,
after due process, reserves to itself the right to
SUSPEND, REPRIMAND AND DISMISS from
the school at any time, strike from the list of
enrollment or candidates for graduation (for
graduating students) and/or withhold the
diploma/credentials, or expel any students who
violate any of the provisions of this Code, or fail to
satisfy the academic and behavioral standards of
LASC.
ARTICLE I
GENERAL BEHAVIOR
Section 1: Students shall all times be NEAT, CLEAN
and DECENT in their attire as well as ORDERLY,
RESPECTFUL and PROPER in their Conduct.
Section 2: Students shall wear their I.D. card
properly at all times inside the School Campus. (No I.D.
No Entry)
PENALTY:
1st Offense: reprimand
2nd Offense: warning
3rd Offense: suspension
Section 3.A.: Students shall not bring into the school objects,
pictures, or literature which are morally offensive or subversive of the
national interest.
PENALTY:
1st Offense: reprimand
2nd Offense: suspension
3rd Offense: dropping for the whole year
Section 3.B.: Students shall at no time bring into premises of the
school any alcoholic drinks or any prohibited drugs or opiate. A student
shall not enter the school campus under the influence of any alcoholic
liquor or any prohibited drug.
PENALTY:
1st Offense: suspension
2nd Offense: dropping
Section 3.C.: Students shall not engage in gambling, lottery or any
other scheme where chance and monetary consideration are involved
inside the school campus.
PENALTY:
1st Offense: suspension
2nd Offense: dropping
Section 3.D.: Students shall not bring into the school premises
explosive materials or deadly weapons of any kind, whether of any
kind, whether concealed or openly. The use, or threat to use, of such
weapons shall aggravate the act.
PENALTY:
1st Offense: suspension
2nd Offense: expulsion
Section 4: Students shall refrain from using language and
committing acts that are disrespectful, vulgar, or indecent, or which in
any manner may cause or tend to disturb other students, faculty
members, employees, or officials or the Administration of the school
PENALTY:
1. If committed against other students, depending on the degree
of vulgarity, or indecency of the act committed, the penalty shall range
from reprimand to expulsion.
2. If committed against the employee, faculty member, or
official of the school, also depending on the degree of vulgarity, or
indecency of the act committed, the penalty shall range from suspension
to expulsion.
Section 5: Students shall not write, draw, or engrave on
chalkboards, walls, chairs or any place or any school property, except
on authorized graffiti walls, including but not limited to, indecent, lewd,
libelous, defamatory, or subversive words or figures.
PENALTY:
1st Offense: suspension
2nd Offense: dropping
Section 6: Students shall not commit any form of littering or
unsanitary acts within the school premises.
PENALTY:
1st Offense: warning
2nd Offense: reprimand
3rd Offense: suspension
Section 7: Students shall not damage any property of the school.
PENALTY:
1st Offense: suspension
2nd Offense: expulsion
Section 8: Students shall not disturb any classes in any manner.
PENALTY:
1st Offense: warning
2nd Offense: reprimand
3rd Offense: suspension
Section 9: Students shall not commit any form of dishonesty, including,
but not limited to:
(a) forgery
(b) cheating in examination
(c) falsification of document
PENALTY:
1st Offense: suspension
2nd Offense: expulsion
Section 10: Students shall not form and maintain any barricade or
make or maintain any form of obstruction to any entrance or exit to and
from the school campus or prevent, coerce, or threaten any other student,
faculty member, official, or personnel of the school from entering into or
going out of the campus.
PENALTY:
1st Offense: suspension for 3 days
2nd Offense: expulsion
Section 11: Students shall not affiliate knowingly with any
unrecognized student organization, operating within the campus, or
unknowing of the unrecognized status of the organization, students
shall not continue to be affiliated with the said organization after
having been informed of its status by the school authorities.
PENALTY:
1st Offense: reprimand
2nd Offense: suspension
3rd Offense: expulsion
Section 12: Students shall not be involved in any form of hazing or
any activity which involves the infliction of harm or physical injury
upon the person of their fellow students inside or outside the campus.
PENALTY:
1st Offense: suspension
2nd Offense: expulsion
Section 13: DISCIPLINARY ADMINISTRATIVE SANCTIONS
ON DRUG USERS AND PUSHERS
USERS: Students caught possessing or under the influence of
said drugs and substances will be dealt with the most strict conditions
of the law on drug addiction. He will be turned over to the
proper authorities for complete examination.
Laboratory examination will be done by accredited
physicians, psychologists or psychiatrist. If a court
order is necessary to confine the said student user
for drug rehabilitation in any accredited center, it
will be done so.
PUSHERS: Those who transport, vend, freely
administer in any manner such as orally, by
injection, sniffing etc. will be turned over to proper
authority for legal action.
PENALTY:
1st Offense: Definite EXPULSION
ARTICLE II
BEHAVIORIN CLASSROOM
Section 1: Students shall attend their classes regularly and
punctually. Tardiness of 15 minutes or more without justifiable
reasons shall be considered an absence.
Section 2: As a sign of respect, students shall rise when called
upon to recite or when propounding questions to the teacher.
Section 3: Students shall leave the room with permission to
the teacher and quietly go out in an orderly manner.
Section 4: Students shall not eat or gum chew in the classroom
and in all other restricted areas.
Section 5: Students shall not cheat or commit any form of
dishonesty in relation to their studies.
Section 6: Students shall keep the classroom and coridors
clean and free from litter.
ARTICLE III
USE OF THE LIBRARY
Section 1: Rules and regulations
governing the use of the library
shall be followed. (See Rules and
Regulations Governing the Use of
Library indicated on the Student’s
Manual and inside the Library)
ARTICLE IV
BEHAVIORIN CORRIDORS AND PASSAGEWAYS
Section 1: Students shall not loiter or create
any disturbance in the corridors during class
hours.
Section 2: Students shall keep to the right
when walking in the corridors and stairways.
Section 3: Students shall keep corridors clean
at all times.
Section 4: Students shall keep all stairways
and corridors clear for passage.
ARTICLE V
BEHAVIORIN ACADEMIC AND SOCIAL FUNCTIONS
Section 1: Students shall refrain from making
unnecessary noise and causing commotion of any
kind during academic functions.
Section 2: Students shall refrain from leaving
the hall during a speech or performance.
Section 3: Students shall attend social functions
in clothing appropriate for the ocassion.
Section 4: Students shall behave properly
during social functions.
ARTICLE VI
BEHAVIOROUTSIDE THE SCHOOL CAMPUS
Section 1: Students shall at
all times refrain from
committing acts that may
embarrass the school or
reflect dishonor upon it.
ARTICLE VII
PENALTIES
Section 1: General Provisions
A. The rules on reprimand, suspension, and dismissal from
the school as promulgated by the Department of Education and the
school itself (LASC) shall govern in the application of penalties to
any violation of the CODE OF CONDUCT. In cases not covered by
the rules of the Code of Conduct and Student’s Manual, the
Committee on Discipline, after hearing, shall determine and
recommend to the Principal, Director or School President the proper
penalty or Disciplinary Measures, taking into account the following:
1. nature and inherent gravity of the offense
2. previous record of student
3. character and position of the aggrieved person
4. established precedents
5. pertinent and applicable aggravating and mitigating
circumstances found in the DSWD for minor.
B. A student who is certified undesirable by the committee on Discipline shall
be dropped/withdrawn from the rolls of the school, in addition to such disciplinary
measures as may be imposed by the committee.
C. Any of the following acts shall constitute a valid ground for suspension,
dismissal, striking from the list of candidates for graduation for graduating
students and/or withholding of the diploma, expulsion depending on the severity of
the offense:
1. Serious misconduct or dishonesty
2. Cheating in written examination
3. Hazing, carrying deadly weapons; bringing explosive into the school
premises; drunkenness; vandalism; assaulting a fellow student, a teacher, or any
other school authority, including members of the staff or employees of the school.
4. Using, selling, transferring or carrying prohibited drugs within the premises
of the school.
5. Involvement in inter-fraternity disorder;
6. Instigating, leading, or participating in activities leading to a stoppage of
classes; use of bullhorn or similar devises that will disturb the conduct of classes;
preventing or threatening students, faculty members, or school authorities from
discharging their duties, or from attending classes or entering the premises of the
school;
7. Forging or tampering school records or transfer forms; securing or using
such forged transfer credentials.
ARTICLE IX
FUND AND PACKAGE DRIVES
Subject to the LASC Rules and
Regulations on the matter, all fund and
package drives, of whatever nature and
purpose, shall have the favorable
recommendation of the Department
Head and with the approval of the
Principal, Director, or School
President.
STUDENT’S AGREEMENT
I hereby pledge to abide by the following disciplinary norms under stated
as fundamental guidelines for the attainment of a sound Christian Education as
indicated in the CODE OF CONDUCT & STUDENT HANDBOOK.
AS A STUDENT
1. I fully accept the school rules and other authorities, knowing that the
said rules directives are for my own good.
2. I shall cooperate to the best of my ability in order to attain the aim of
LASC which is to form in me a practicing Good Christian and a concerned
Filipino Citizen.
3. Once enrolled in LASC, I shall uphold the teachings of the school within
and outside the campus.
4. I acknowledge that the school requirement include the following:
a. Punctuality in reporting to school and class activities.
b. Wearing the prescribed School Uniform on designated days. (2
inches above the eyebrows & 3 inches above the ears, shaven head or semi-
opao is strictly not allowed for boys.)
d. Observe Proper Grooming (nails are well-trimmed, without colored nail
polish)
- Boys are not allowed to have Pierced Ears and Wear Earrings / Headbands;;
Girls are allowed to wear 1 pair of earrings ONLY.
- Tattoo on any part of the body is not allowed.
- Hair dying & Coloring is not allowed.
(Failure to comply with any of these requirements will be subject to
DISCIPLINARY ACTION)
e. Student Handbook, Code of Student Conduct, ID Card, Textbooks,
submission of birth certificate, Baptismal Certificate (IF Catholic), Good Moral
Certificate & Form 137-A (for transferees), Permanent Records and other subject
requirements.
In case I Fail to comply with any of these requirements through Neglect, I shall
respect the right of the school to refuse my admission to my classes or to subject me
in my disciplinary action.
5. I acknowledge that committing any of the acts stated in the STUDENT’S
HANDBOOK & CODE OF CONDUCT as serious offenses will, after due
investigation, disqualify me from continuing my study in LASC, according to the
gravity of the offense without prejudice to the imposition of heavier penalties as
provided for by the DepEd and by the Manual Regulations of Private Schools.
THIS CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS WAS APPROVED
BY THE COMMITTEE ON DISCIPLINE AND THE LASC
ADMINISTRATORS, PRINCIPAL, DIRECTOR AND SCHOOL
PRESIDENT. ITS SUPERSEDES ALL PREVIOUS STUDENT CODES

C O N T R A C T
We appreciate very much the privilege of having your
child/children entrusted to our care. We shall do our best to give them
the necessary education you want for them and prepare them for better
life and form their character traits according to the law of society and
above all according to the law of the Almighty God.
However, if your child/children (son/daugther) FAIL to maintain the
set standard by the school either in CONDUCT and ACADEMIC
PERFORMANCE, we serve our rights to request you parent/guardian
their WITHDRAWAL/or DROPPING.
D I S C I P L I N A R Y M E A S U R E
A G R E E M E N T
We, the undersigned parent/guardian and enrolling child/children,
are grateful for all the care, welfare and special attention the LASC
extends to us. Having understood and being aware of all the existing
rules and regulations stated in the CODE OF CONDUCT and
STUDENT HANDBOOK AND MANUAL set by the LASC
Administration and Committee on Discipline for the good of everybody
as contained therein, we promise and commit ourselves to the best of
our abilities to cooperate, and give our FULL ASSURANCE to abide by
and comply with the rules and regulations. It is understood that we
agree to withdraw/drop our child from this school if he/she fails to live
up to the standard set by the LASC.

LASC Students code of conduct

  • 1. STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT LITTLE ANGEL STUDY CENTER Olongapo City Government Recognition: Pre-Elementary – No. 010, s. 1984 Elementary – No. 002, s. 1997 High School – No. 017, s. 2004
  • 2. PRELIMINARY STATEMENT Dedication to study, respect for authority, strict observance of the rules and regulations of the school and unfailing courtesy are expected at all time of all LASC students. The administration, after due process, reserves to itself the right to SUSPEND, REPRIMAND AND DISMISS from the school at any time, strike from the list of enrollment or candidates for graduation (for graduating students) and/or withhold the diploma/credentials, or expel any students who violate any of the provisions of this Code, or fail to satisfy the academic and behavioral standards of LASC.
  • 3. ARTICLE I GENERAL BEHAVIOR Section 1: Students shall all times be NEAT, CLEAN and DECENT in their attire as well as ORDERLY, RESPECTFUL and PROPER in their Conduct. Section 2: Students shall wear their I.D. card properly at all times inside the School Campus. (No I.D. No Entry) PENALTY: 1st Offense: reprimand 2nd Offense: warning 3rd Offense: suspension
  • 4. Section 3.A.: Students shall not bring into the school objects, pictures, or literature which are morally offensive or subversive of the national interest. PENALTY: 1st Offense: reprimand 2nd Offense: suspension 3rd Offense: dropping for the whole year Section 3.B.: Students shall at no time bring into premises of the school any alcoholic drinks or any prohibited drugs or opiate. A student shall not enter the school campus under the influence of any alcoholic liquor or any prohibited drug. PENALTY: 1st Offense: suspension 2nd Offense: dropping Section 3.C.: Students shall not engage in gambling, lottery or any other scheme where chance and monetary consideration are involved inside the school campus. PENALTY: 1st Offense: suspension 2nd Offense: dropping
  • 5. Section 3.D.: Students shall not bring into the school premises explosive materials or deadly weapons of any kind, whether of any kind, whether concealed or openly. The use, or threat to use, of such weapons shall aggravate the act. PENALTY: 1st Offense: suspension 2nd Offense: expulsion Section 4: Students shall refrain from using language and committing acts that are disrespectful, vulgar, or indecent, or which in any manner may cause or tend to disturb other students, faculty members, employees, or officials or the Administration of the school PENALTY: 1. If committed against other students, depending on the degree of vulgarity, or indecency of the act committed, the penalty shall range from reprimand to expulsion. 2. If committed against the employee, faculty member, or official of the school, also depending on the degree of vulgarity, or indecency of the act committed, the penalty shall range from suspension to expulsion.
  • 6. Section 5: Students shall not write, draw, or engrave on chalkboards, walls, chairs or any place or any school property, except on authorized graffiti walls, including but not limited to, indecent, lewd, libelous, defamatory, or subversive words or figures. PENALTY: 1st Offense: suspension 2nd Offense: dropping Section 6: Students shall not commit any form of littering or unsanitary acts within the school premises. PENALTY: 1st Offense: warning 2nd Offense: reprimand 3rd Offense: suspension Section 7: Students shall not damage any property of the school. PENALTY: 1st Offense: suspension 2nd Offense: expulsion
  • 7. Section 8: Students shall not disturb any classes in any manner. PENALTY: 1st Offense: warning 2nd Offense: reprimand 3rd Offense: suspension Section 9: Students shall not commit any form of dishonesty, including, but not limited to: (a) forgery (b) cheating in examination (c) falsification of document PENALTY: 1st Offense: suspension 2nd Offense: expulsion Section 10: Students shall not form and maintain any barricade or make or maintain any form of obstruction to any entrance or exit to and from the school campus or prevent, coerce, or threaten any other student, faculty member, official, or personnel of the school from entering into or going out of the campus. PENALTY: 1st Offense: suspension for 3 days 2nd Offense: expulsion

Section 11: Students shall not affiliate knowingly with any unrecognized student organization, operating within the campus, or unknowing of the unrecognized status of the organization, students shall not continue to be affiliated with the said organization after having been informed of its status by the school authorities. PENALTY: 1st Offense: reprimand 2nd Offense: suspension 3rd Offense: expulsion Section 12: Students shall not be involved in any form of hazing or any activity which involves the infliction of harm or physical injury upon the person of their fellow students inside or outside the campus. PENALTY: 1st Offense: suspension 2nd Offense: expulsion Section 13: DISCIPLINARY ADMINISTRATIVE SANCTIONS ON DRUG USERS AND PUSHERS USERS: Students caught possessing or under the influence of said drugs and substances will be dealt with the most strict conditions of the law on drug addiction. He will be turned over to the
  • 9. proper authorities for complete examination. Laboratory examination will be done by accredited physicians, psychologists or psychiatrist. If a court order is necessary to confine the said student user for drug rehabilitation in any accredited center, it will be done so. PUSHERS: Those who transport, vend, freely administer in any manner such as orally, by injection, sniffing etc. will be turned over to proper authority for legal action. PENALTY: 1st Offense: Definite EXPULSION
  • 10. ARTICLE II BEHAVIORIN CLASSROOM Section 1: Students shall attend their classes regularly and punctually. Tardiness of 15 minutes or more without justifiable reasons shall be considered an absence. Section 2: As a sign of respect, students shall rise when called upon to recite or when propounding questions to the teacher. Section 3: Students shall leave the room with permission to the teacher and quietly go out in an orderly manner. Section 4: Students shall not eat or gum chew in the classroom and in all other restricted areas. Section 5: Students shall not cheat or commit any form of dishonesty in relation to their studies. Section 6: Students shall keep the classroom and coridors clean and free from litter.
  • 11. ARTICLE III USE OF THE LIBRARY Section 1: Rules and regulations governing the use of the library shall be followed. (See Rules and Regulations Governing the Use of Library indicated on the Student’s Manual and inside the Library)
  • 12. ARTICLE IV BEHAVIORIN CORRIDORS AND PASSAGEWAYS Section 1: Students shall not loiter or create any disturbance in the corridors during class hours. Section 2: Students shall keep to the right when walking in the corridors and stairways. Section 3: Students shall keep corridors clean at all times. Section 4: Students shall keep all stairways and corridors clear for passage.
  • 13. ARTICLE V BEHAVIORIN ACADEMIC AND SOCIAL FUNCTIONS Section 1: Students shall refrain from making unnecessary noise and causing commotion of any kind during academic functions. Section 2: Students shall refrain from leaving the hall during a speech or performance. Section 3: Students shall attend social functions in clothing appropriate for the ocassion. Section 4: Students shall behave properly during social functions.
  • 14. ARTICLE VI BEHAVIOROUTSIDE THE SCHOOL CAMPUS Section 1: Students shall at all times refrain from committing acts that may embarrass the school or reflect dishonor upon it.
  • 15. ARTICLE VII PENALTIES Section 1: General Provisions A. The rules on reprimand, suspension, and dismissal from the school as promulgated by the Department of Education and the school itself (LASC) shall govern in the application of penalties to any violation of the CODE OF CONDUCT. In cases not covered by the rules of the Code of Conduct and Student’s Manual, the Committee on Discipline, after hearing, shall determine and recommend to the Principal, Director or School President the proper penalty or Disciplinary Measures, taking into account the following: 1. nature and inherent gravity of the offense 2. previous record of student 3. character and position of the aggrieved person 4. established precedents 5. pertinent and applicable aggravating and mitigating circumstances found in the DSWD for minor.
  • 16. B. A student who is certified undesirable by the committee on Discipline shall be dropped/withdrawn from the rolls of the school, in addition to such disciplinary measures as may be imposed by the committee. C. Any of the following acts shall constitute a valid ground for suspension, dismissal, striking from the list of candidates for graduation for graduating students and/or withholding of the diploma, expulsion depending on the severity of the offense: 1. Serious misconduct or dishonesty 2. Cheating in written examination 3. Hazing, carrying deadly weapons; bringing explosive into the school premises; drunkenness; vandalism; assaulting a fellow student, a teacher, or any other school authority, including members of the staff or employees of the school. 4. Using, selling, transferring or carrying prohibited drugs within the premises of the school. 5. Involvement in inter-fraternity disorder; 6. Instigating, leading, or participating in activities leading to a stoppage of classes; use of bullhorn or similar devises that will disturb the conduct of classes; preventing or threatening students, faculty members, or school authorities from discharging their duties, or from attending classes or entering the premises of the school; 7. Forging or tampering school records or transfer forms; securing or using such forged transfer credentials.
  • 17. ARTICLE IX FUND AND PACKAGE DRIVES Subject to the LASC Rules and Regulations on the matter, all fund and package drives, of whatever nature and purpose, shall have the favorable recommendation of the Department Head and with the approval of the Principal, Director, or School President.
  • 18. STUDENT’S AGREEMENT I hereby pledge to abide by the following disciplinary norms under stated as fundamental guidelines for the attainment of a sound Christian Education as indicated in the CODE OF CONDUCT & STUDENT HANDBOOK. AS A STUDENT 1. I fully accept the school rules and other authorities, knowing that the said rules directives are for my own good. 2. I shall cooperate to the best of my ability in order to attain the aim of LASC which is to form in me a practicing Good Christian and a concerned Filipino Citizen. 3. Once enrolled in LASC, I shall uphold the teachings of the school within and outside the campus. 4. I acknowledge that the school requirement include the following: a. Punctuality in reporting to school and class activities. b. Wearing the prescribed School Uniform on designated days. (2 inches above the eyebrows & 3 inches above the ears, shaven head or semi- opao is strictly not allowed for boys.)
  • 19. d. Observe Proper Grooming (nails are well-trimmed, without colored nail polish) - Boys are not allowed to have Pierced Ears and Wear Earrings / Headbands;; Girls are allowed to wear 1 pair of earrings ONLY. - Tattoo on any part of the body is not allowed. - Hair dying & Coloring is not allowed. (Failure to comply with any of these requirements will be subject to DISCIPLINARY ACTION) e. Student Handbook, Code of Student Conduct, ID Card, Textbooks, submission of birth certificate, Baptismal Certificate (IF Catholic), Good Moral Certificate & Form 137-A (for transferees), Permanent Records and other subject requirements. In case I Fail to comply with any of these requirements through Neglect, I shall respect the right of the school to refuse my admission to my classes or to subject me in my disciplinary action. 5. I acknowledge that committing any of the acts stated in the STUDENT’S HANDBOOK & CODE OF CONDUCT as serious offenses will, after due investigation, disqualify me from continuing my study in LASC, according to the gravity of the offense without prejudice to the imposition of heavier penalties as provided for by the DepEd and by the Manual Regulations of Private Schools.
  • 20. THIS CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS WAS APPROVED BY THE COMMITTEE ON DISCIPLINE AND THE LASC ADMINISTRATORS, PRINCIPAL, DIRECTOR AND SCHOOL PRESIDENT. ITS SUPERSEDES ALL PREVIOUS STUDENT CODES LITTLE ANGEL STUDY CENTER Olongapo City C O N T R A C T We appreciate very much the privilege of having your child/children entrusted to our care. We shall do our best to give them the necessary education you want for them and prepare them for better life and form their character traits according to the law of society and above all according to the law of the Almighty God. However, if your child/children (son/daugther) FAIL to maintain the set standard by the school either in CONDUCT and ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE, we serve our rights to request you parent/guardian their WITHDRAWAL/or DROPPING.
  • 21. D I S C I P L I N A R Y M E A S U R E A G R E E M E N T We, the undersigned parent/guardian and enrolling child/children, are grateful for all the care, welfare and special attention the LASC extends to us. Having understood and being aware of all the existing rules and regulations stated in the CODE OF CONDUCT and STUDENT HANDBOOK AND MANUAL set by the LASC Administration and Committee on Discipline for the good of everybody as contained therein, we promise and commit ourselves to the best of our abilities to cooperate, and give our FULL ASSURANCE to abide by and comply with the rules and regulations.
