3. Introduction
Developed during the BSP regime(2007 to 2012).
Park dedicated to Mr. Kanshi Ram who devoted his life to the welfare of the
oppressed and the under privileged and also for the people of Lucknow .
One of the Dream Project of Chief Minister Of Uttar Pradseh.

4. Aim
• To show the concept of bio-diversity and use of technology to reverse
environmental degradation due to massive urbanization .
• To protect the environment from the increasing pollution in the city
• To make it as tourist Destinetion all Over the world.

5. • It is one of the biggest Ecological park in the world spreading around 140 acre area of
land.
• The Park has two main entrances.
• There was no big garden in the heart of the city.
• Unique place to experience art and natural greenery at one place.

7. Division
• The park is divided in three zones -
The Buffer area- The area is spreaded over in an area of 40 Acres of land and is
comprised of Cactus Garden, 52' feet tall Bronze Fountain, 9 mts high Ashokan
Pillar, Granite Platform with benches, Entry Gate on Geetapalli Side and Golf Cart
Parking.
• Main Park -The area is spreaded over in an area of 80 Acres of land and is
comprised of two huge entrance plazas with a 20 mt wide water bodies adorned
with four bronze fountains and eight sandstone fountains. A rock garden
comprising on an area of 800 mt. wherein bronze structure of animals, trees and
birds are established. An awe-inspiring Cup shaped statue made of sandstone
positioned at the Central part of main park in over an area of 80 thousand sq mt.

8. • Public amenities and Parking -There is a whole lot of infrastructure and parking facilities
around the eco park which includes canteen block, administrative office, staff quarter,
toilet quarters and a huge 27 ft fountain. Public facilities like parking place, administrative
building and well dressed public toilet with cleaning staff remains there.

9. • Rock Garden:-Special Green plants of German origin. It surrounded by
green houses where around 12000 plants of Euphorbia Milli provide
greate solace to the eyes. These plants are of German origin and capable
of blooming almost year-round.
• 20 trees of 'kanak champa'

10. Bronze Animals, Trees statues :- 25 verities of animals made of bronze, like
lions, tigers, monkeys, dinosaurs, elephants, etc. amuse kids in addition to
other statues of grass and stones, which definitely make the Park worth
visiting. Sound emanating from them at the slightest blow of air make
them most interesting natural like place in the Park.

11. Central Mound : A bowl like structure at the central place of the Park. Whole can
seen from this place. You can take rest feel stress free while sitting between
greenery and the lights. A water body around the Central mound is
constructed. More than 500 statues of Animals and birds can be seen around
it. Special efforts have been made to make it Eco-friendly. Use of Solar Electricity,
Rain water harvesting and re-use of water are few of them

12. Water Body : Around 10 water body wherein fountains made of bronze provide a
most attractive coloured look during night. Visitors throng in the park to see the
reflection of colours during late evening time.

granite stones

The shade-bearing trees will not only provide comfort to the people walking on
