– Free social networking and micro-blogging service
– Allows its users to send and read other users'
updates (otherwise known as tweets)
– Text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length.
– 3,300,000 registered users and counting
• Twitter is not:
– A job board
– A resume database
– Email or instant messaging or spam
– Facebook or MySpace
