It is mainly a development, support and maintenance project of Chrysler Warranty
Systems. Warranty is given to customer when they buy a car of Chrysler. After the merger
of FIAT and Chrysler, some part of FIAT is also maintained under this project. Warranty
consists of mainly GCS (Global Claims System) and VIP (Vehicle Information Plus). GCS
mainly deals with raising of claims and viewing the status of claims by dealers under
Chrysler. VIP is for viewing the information all the Chrysler vehicles.
Responsibilities Include:
 Understanding of Business requirement, subsequent BRD analysis, Effort estimation.
 Developing new module based on the user requirement through IBM Mainframes using COBOL for
programs, JCL for batch jobs, DB2 for database changes and CICS for online screens.
 Worked in development projectof GCS claimprocessingusingCICS,DB2 and COBOL to process the claims
through CICS maps and screens.
 Worked in development project to process FIAT claims through Chrysler CICS transactions.

and automation.
