This document outlines 8 issues for a policy study on medicinal plants being conducted by the CGSMPB in March 2012. It asks questions about whether the state provides tax incentives to industries involving medicinal plants, what efforts are made to train gatherer groups in sustainable practices, whether agriculture and training programs include medicinal plants, what facilities exist or are planned to collect, trade, or add value to medicinal plants, the progress of medicinal plants processed by NTFP federations, growth in medicinal plant farming over 5 years, and whether quality planting material and information on cultivation is available.
