What is UDrive?
UDrive powered by Google Drive lets you store and
access your files anywhere -- on the web, on your hard
drive, or on the go. Here’s how it works:
Setting up is easy:
• Go to UDrive on the web at drive.google.com
• Sign in with your UMail address.
• Install Drive on your computer or mobile device.
• Keep your files in your UDrive folder.
UDrive with your USQ email gives you 30GB
of storage space across UMail and UDrive.

Access Everything
Your files are always waiting for you at drive.google.com,
but you can also get them straight from your computer,
smartphone, and tablet.
Install Google Drive on multiple devices and UDrive
makes sure they’re all the same. You can even get to your
files after you go offline.
Any time your device has Internet access, it checks
in with UDrive. That ensures your files and folders are
always up to date. Change something on one device and
it changes everywhere.

Top Tips:
Install UDrive to your
PC/Mac.
This allows you to
automatically sync files
that you drop into your
Google Drive folder. You
can then also send files
to Google Drive by right
clicking on a file straight
from your computer.
Use Chrome
Google Chrome provides a
more seamless experience
and adds the ability to
drag and drop from the
desktop to UDrive.
Get organised.
Use Google Drive’s folder
features to organise your files.
On Google Drive online you
can also set colour tags to files
and folders.
Start Sharing.
Constantly sending email
attachments with updated
files isn’t needed with Google
Drive. Create a folder and
then share that folder with
other friends or colleagues.
All you need is their email. You
can control who can view files
and who can make changes.

Top Tips:
Keep eye on your data.
30GB may seem like alot,
but over time that quota
might become full if you
don’t manage your file
sizes. Take note of what
size videos or photos
are before uploading to
UDrive.
With your emails, regularly
clean out attatchments
that are large in size.
Remember you are
responsible for your own
quota and content.
Create Backups.
While keeping files on UDrive
is a great idea for accessibility
and sharing, remember to
never keep a file in just one
location.
Always save a backup on a
usb or computer hard drive.
