Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (SREC), Coimbatore established in the year 1994
by SNR Sons Charitable Trust is one of the 17 institutions managed by the trust. SREC is
an autonomous institution offering 12 Undergraduate and 7 Post Graduate programmes
in Engineering and Technology, in addition to MBA.
The institution is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade and currently has 4800 students
passionately mentored by 323 faculty members.

Dr. N R. ALAMELU is the recipient of the ISTE - Bharathiya
Vidya Bhavan National Award for Best Engineering College
Principal. She received her Ph.D. in Electronics and
Communication Engineering from Bharathiyar University,
Coimbatore. She holds her Masters in Applied Electronics
from Madras University and Bachelors in Electronics and
Communication Engineering with honours from
Madras University. Dr. N R Alamelu has 32 years of
academic experience in outstanding Engineering
Institutions across Tamil Nadu.

īļEvery student is expected to attend all classes and secure 100% attendance.
īļA candidate with less than 75% (course wise- English, Physics, Chemistry,
Mathematics, etc.) attendance will not be permitted to write the end semester
examination of that course.
īļCandidates who secure, less than 65% of overall attendance will not be permitted
to appear for the End Semester Examinations. The Candidate shall seek
readmission to the same semester in the subsequent academic year.

â€ĸ On Duty leave exemption will be limited to 10% of the required attendance in that
semester with the approval of the HoD.
â€ĸ On duty leave is for representation in University/ Inter University/
State/ National/ sports events, Co-Curricular activities, paper and/or project
presentation with prior permission from the Head of the Department, provided
the progress and conduct of the candidate is satisfactory.
â€ĸ Medical leave may be applied duly requested by the student and endorsed by the
parents. Medical documents are to be submitted on the day of resuming classwork.

prosperity and bliss to the nation.
Arun M. of B.Tech. Information Technology has become a
Technical Officer in the Indian Army. He has also been
recommended as an officer of Flying branch (Pilot) rank in the
Indian Airforce. He also won a gold medal in the
South Zone Rifle Shooting
Sajin Thomas of III B.E. Civil Engineering led the Republic Day
Parade (RDC 2021). He represented TamilNadu, Puducherry,
Andamam & amp; Nicobar Directorate as Parade Commander.

ATTENDANCE AND REGULATIONS 30-10-2022 14 COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING īļEvery student is expected to attend all classes and secure 100% attendance. īļA candidate with less than 75% (course wise- English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, etc.) attendance will not be permitted to write the end semester examination of that course. īļCandidates who secure, less than 65% of overall attendance will not be permitted to appear for the End Semester Examinations. The Candidate shall seek readmission to the same semester in the subsequent academic year.

He also won a gold medal in the South Zone Rifle Shooting Sajin Thomas of III B.E. Civil Engineering led the Republic Day Parade (RDC 2021). He represented TamilNadu, Puducherry, Andamam & amp; Nicobar Directorate as Parade Commander.
