14. What the Retailers Said ...
Nikki Cooper - COOPER AND ROUGE:
“My promotion with NOT YOUR DAUGHTERS JEANS was a success with a record sales day for this range. Katrina
Smith was just wonderful - I was amazed at how many people came into the store after the promotion that were
new customers - many mentioned they had heard about us from the radio advertising”.
Julie Forbes – FOXY LADY:
“A fun and effective way to showcase our new season’s swimwear and to get awareness that we are stockists of
swimwear, not just lingerie. It was fantastic to get a front page story in the Nelson Mail and all the exposure on
MORE FM. Our sales for the week were extremely good, with a noticeable increase in sales immediately after our
promotion.”
Nicole & John Hogan – HOGEYS SURF:
“A fun and effective way to showcase our new season’s swimwear and casual wear and to create some energy and
fun. We had a fantastic day of sales immediately after our promotion and I think this was due to all the awareness
generated the day before. We definitely would be part of something like this again!
Jo Menary - SHINE:
“It was good for me, with our opening week. The excitement and energy was there!”
Liberty Grieg – TROUBLE & FOX:
“I thought it was great value for money and the effort put in by everyone involved was fantastic. Tying in with NZ
Fashion Week was a great concept (particularly with the labels we stock) and the models did a wonderful job of
showcasing our Spring collection and NZ designers at Trouble and Fox. Katrina was lovely to work with and I think
the live radio crosses really helped to boost our profile and generate a bit of hype surrounding the promotion. We
had a successful weekend of sales, despite the weather, and we would definitely consider being involved again in
future promotions.”
