Some have let us know that the LIVE! they attended changed their mindset for the better and they’re now hugely fired up about their businesses. Others have said that it was something that they heard at Kleeneze LIVE! that has helped them turn their goals into action points and now they’re really making progress. For many, it’s the huge amount of training that has given Distributors the helping hand they need to build their business to more elevated and stronger heights. By December 2009, Nick Sassanelli and his wife, Grace, had been in Kleeneze 18 months. In the previous year, they’d qualified at Gold Distributor level and had a team of about 15 people. But it had all gone wrong and they found themselves right back where they’d started – at 10% and on their own. “It was a massive learning curve,” admits Nick. “We built our business in an incorrect manner and we ended up learning the hard way. However, we thought to ourselves, we know exactly what we need to do and the experience we’ve gained over those 18 months was very, very good; so let’s do it again! “We took two guests to the January Showcase in 2010, both of them signed up and we took it from there.” In hindsight, it was a great move. Since that day, the couple have built up their business to the point where Grace could quit her full- time job, they’ve qualified for New York and are more determined than ever to achieve their goals. “In April of 2010, Grace had decided she’d had enough of her job and wanted to do Kleeneze full-time. At that point, we were earning about £600 every four weeks. We decided how much we’d need to replace her income and worked out how many catalogues we needed to put out. In the first three weeks, we’d achieved it. We reached 18%. The following Period we hit 21% and it was onwards to Gold.” With two small children, aged 4 and 7, Kleeneze was a means to earning that extra income. However, the announcement of New York as the 2011 Destination gave the pair even more incentive to get their business moving. “Essentially, we needed the income,” explains Nick. “There was no bigger reason for us to work on our business. We have a massive mortgage and it was Grace’s income that paid for things like groceries – we needed the money to live basically. “But as soon as New York was announced, Grace absolutely screamed! She said: ‘we have GOT to go there’. So, it became a combination of desire to qualify for the destination and desire for the income that got us here. To qualify for the Destination just accelerates your business no end. “In a way the criteria was an in-built plan. It was at the right time.   3. 3. ENTERPRIZE WEEKLY BULLETIN Issue 20 13.05.11 Nick, who works in technical sales, is determined to quit his job next year to focus on the business full-time. But first, he has a couple of other goals he wants to achieve “We’re working towards holding Gold now for ten our of the thirteen Periods, so we can qualify for the £1,500,” admits Nick. “I personally also have got my eye on the Mini now too! I know it’s a long-term objective, but you’ve got to keep your eye on the long- term to keep yourself focused on the short-term. Everything you do on a daily basis will take you that bit closer to it. Whether it’s setting your alarm for 6.15 when really you don’t have to get up until 8. For example, I’ve started to ride to my work to save money, because I can put that money back into advertising my business. It’s just little things like that. Having a partnership really helps too, because if someone is having a not-so-great day, you can bounce off each other – that helps. “You just need to plug into everything if you want to achieve your goals - attend every meeting and event you can; take advantage of everything and all the support that’s there. Put your plan into action.” The Power of Warm Market Stephen Wilson and Marie Bell were our very first Distributors, outside the trophy winners to qualify for New York. Marie, who works full-time as a team leader for a photocopier company, and Steve, a self-employed builder, started their business just 14 months ago and now are set to go on one of the biggest Destinations Kleeneze has ever seen! “We knew before New York was even announced that we’d be on the next Destination,” remembers Marie. “Our Upline had told us about the destinations that they had qualified for, showing us DVDs, and we were blown away by the Kleeneze experience. We attended our first Showcase in September 2010 where Michael revealed that it was going to be New York. We were so excited; we couldn’t wait to get our plans in place to qualify as soon as possible.” It was Steve’s brother, Dave Wilson (see below), who introduced the couple to Kleeneze. Having made no provisions for a pension, they could immediately see the bigger picture and joined straight away. Now they’re pinching themselves at the thought of going to New York! “It felt amazing when we knew that we’d qualified. We were overwhelmed, elated, proud – there are so many words to describe how we felt and we’re still feeling. All of our PC screen savers at home work and our phones have New York pictures on them. We have copies of the New York itinerary plastered all over the walls, kitchen cupboards, mirrors at home. We watched the DVD over and over. We talked about what we are going to do when we get there and what it will be like. It was our number one priority.” Qualifying for New York had another effect though and now Stephen and Marie’s business is in a stronger place than ever before. “The first Period we qualified at Gold, our income increased by £1000, which is amazing. Qualifying for New York has given us the focus to build our business bigger and faster and help others achieve their goals, because we have qualified we know that we can coach and guide others to qualify too.” Dave Wilson and Julie Knight started their Kleeneze journey 18 months ago in October 2009. Dave runs his own locksmith business and Julie is a primary school teacher, they also have two young children. They started from warm market as their friends had recently started in the business and urged them to take a look, which they eventually did and could see the long-term potential straight away. They hit 13% bonus in their first month earning £460 and went on to qualify as Gold Distributors and their first Destination to Hong Kong. They’ve earned a fabulous part-time income of £17,000 from Kleeneze in those first 18 months.
