5. Inspired by XYZ's question "What feeling would you have when the situation (discrimination against immigrants) comes to you?" I ponder on the current mainland immigrants who dwell in Hong Kong and have triggered resentment from the indigenous population. Actually whenever I saw feedbacks on Facebook and various forum concerning the mainland immigrants in Hong Kong, I feel totally comfortable to it even though the comments are in fact mean, irrational and racism in nature. Of course I have heard about the notorious deeds of them, deep down in my mind I know not all of the mainlanders are "bad", (...) sometimes I couldn't help having resentment against them as a whole and I know that happens not only on me, but most of us as Hongkongers. If that's the case it seems absurd for us to blame Thilo Saraazin for his discrimination against Turks in Germany.... Perhaps I want to know what is your heart feeling towards the immigrants in Hong Kong? Given that some of the culture they bring to us (littering on street, crazy shopping, etc) are bad, can we accept Multi-Culti?
