musician, wanting him to have a “proper job”.
• Man breaks up with the women.
• Man focuses on playing music (piano/writing songs).
• Tears dripping on the lyrics.
• Women in bed crying, shows radio next to her bed.
• Flashbacks to them doing couple things.
3. • More piano and writing lyrics
• Phone call – response – joy and gleeful.
• Final shots are him on the radio – song fades out to radio
presenter talking.
• Goes back to her bedroom , shows radio with him playing out of
the radio.
• Final shot is him singing on the radio with a tear going down his
cheek, fades to black from that.
4. • These are the main points throughout the video. There
will be a variety of shots from different angles showing
this, following the two sides of the break up.
• The narrative of the video follows Todorov’s theory
however not in the conventional way. This is because
there is the Equilibrium, Disequilibrium and Resolution
but not in that order. It starts with Disequilibrium then
by the use of flashbacks goes to the Equilibrium then to
the Resolution at the end.
