7. Town Hall Meeting / Teen Summit
on Alcohol Awareness
Tuesday, April 24th from 6:00-8:00pm at Central
Sponsored by Crawford County Health Education Coalition
Representative Gary Deffenbaugh will be the master of
ceremonies and former Arkansas Razorback and Van Buren
Pointer Mark Douglas will be guest speaker at the event.
A ”Minute to Win It” game format will be used to educate
attendees about the effects of teen alcohol use.
The first 150 will receive free pizza. There will be prizes
given away to those who attend and register. Drawings will
be held for 2 Velocity tablet PC’s, 3 I- Pod Shuffles, and
numerous I- Tunes, Wal-Mart, Sonic gift cards.
The event will allow parents and their teens to pledge to be
alcohol free, with yard signs given to those who pledge.
