SW Regional Poly Hockey Tournament
(Newaygo, Mich.) – The South West Regional Poly Hockey Tournament is
Saturday November 1st at Newaygo High School. There will be an opening
ceremony before the tournament. Approximately 200 athletes, 30
coaches/chaperones and 25 volunteers will take part in the event.
Poly Hockey is an adaptive sport similar to floor hockey. Athletes use plastic
hockey sticks and pucks and play on a floor surface. The poly hockey
competition will consist of both team play and an individual skills contest. There
are nearly 20,000 Special Olympic athletes in Michigan, and over 1,000 in
Kent and Barry Counties. Show your support for our athletes by joining us for
the SW Regional Poly Hockey Tournament!
The tournament is located at Newaygo High School, 200 East St Newaygo, MI,
49337.
