2. A Beginning You are lead to the Tailor's shop, where the story begins Mompesson prompts you to open the parcel of cloth, talking about its arrival from London Now he alerts you that you have opened The Parcel of Death
3. The Death Begins The tailor's assistant is ill, he has caught the plague Tapping on the body shows the various symptoms of the plague and details about them Various villagers' voices can be heard questioning the cause of his death
4. The People of Eyam A montage of Eyam (narrated by Mompesson) is showing people in distress with nowhere to go You enter the church and see people praying for safety from the plague Tap on various people to hear what they think about the current situation
5. The Story of Andrew Merrill Walking away from Eyam you approach a field, you see a sleeping man and his cockerel Mompesson tells the story of Andrew Merrill while the seasons change in the background Andrew was not a victim of the plague, but people are still in dire need of help in Eyam
6. The Rector of Eyam The Rector explains that help is not easy to come by, and he has a family to deal with After a debate with his wife, he agrees to send his children off to Yorkshire. You watch them leave Now William decides to take action and help the people of Eyam
7. A Plan Is Formed A menu appears, “What Should William Do?” with various options Each option is debated until you choose 'Seal Off The Village' You visit the house of Thomas Stanley, the previous Rector for the village
8. The Villagers Hear the Plan You observe Stanley and Mompesson from the crowd Their talk is animated with pictures of the boundary stone, William also asking you to wash coins in vinegar to show them rid of disease Answering the crowds questions correctly, they agree to the plan. If they do not agree you must try again
9. The Devestation Continues Observing Mompesson walking with his wife, she says “How Sweet the Air Smells” This brings up a video of other villagers proclaiming this same thing, then them dying of plague William watches Catherine pass away, the villagers now need him more than ever
10. Breaking the Rules You follow the story of a woman who decided to leave Eyam, interacting with the crowd in the next village You also watch Mrs. Hancock bury her family, using the touchscreen to place the covered bodies into the graves Heading to the Boundary Stone, William tells you no one tried to leave after these events
11. Two Lovers and a Gravedigger After you are told the story of Emmott and Rowland, you use the controls to lead Rowland to the meeting place When Emmott doesn't show, Rowland waits for hours - months later he learns she was stricken by plague You also take on the role of gravedigger Marshall Howe, using the touchscreen to take what you please from peoples houses
12. The Final Months Following Andrew Merrill's cockerel, there is relief from the remaining villagers Mompesson leads you to a gravestone covered in leaves, once you brush them away you see it is the grave of tailor, Alexander Hadfield - he was not so lucky You join the villagers in burning their remaining clothes to remove the plague in Eyam
13. After the Plague Mompesson wraps up the story by telling you some facts about the plague He also asks you visit Eyam and its plague museum if you wish to find out more William bids farewell and upon completion a set of mini-games are opened for you to play
14. It is a whack-a-mole style game and you tap people when they glow red to gain points, you lose points if they are not glowing red In the Plague Rat minigame you take control of a rat and your aim is to spread as much disease as possible
