2. What costumes will my characters wear?
Scene 1 - For the first scene my film is set at a football ground and Jamie and Jordan are playing
football. Therefore I will need them to both either be wearing tracksuit bottoms and some sort of
sports shirt as well as football boots.
Scene 2 – This scene is set in an urban estate which looks quite rough. I want my characters in this
scene all to be wearing some sort of tracksuits with puffer jackets and maybe some hats. As well as
this, the accessories such as watches and jewellery and maybe SK or trigs to be wearing gloves.
Scene 3 – In this scene, SK and Jordan are on the phone. Jordan is quite relaxed in comfortable
clothing such as a tracksuit whereas SK looks more dangerous and aggressive and so I would like him
to be wearing quite dark clothes such as a black puffer jacket, black hoodie and hat etc. such as the
picture on the right.
Scene 4 – Jamie is walking home from a football training session and so he is wearing some form of
team training kit. The gang members who jump him need to be wearing gloves to hide finger prints,
hoodies and jackets as well as balaclavas to hide their identity. Triggs needs to have a weapon such as
a baseball bat or a metal pole that he hits Jamie around the head with.
Scene 5 – In the final scene, SK, Triggs and Jordan are standing around the victim who is on his knees
tied up with a bag over his head. SK and trigs are In all black clothing with their hoods up whereas
Jordan has a simple tracksuit which is lighter than the two other's clothes. The victim Jamie has some
football training clothing on. Jordan also needs to be holding a gun in the film which is a very
important prop.
3. Where will I get the clothing from?
There are a variety of different outfits that I will need for the short film
however they are all on specific style. The outfits all have an urban vibe
and all have some connotations of gangs and maybe the person wearing
the outfit may seem dangerous or unapproachable to some people. The
outfits chosen are stereotypically what people would associate with
gangs or badly behaving people such as hoodies and tracksuits.
Most of my actors already have the appropriate clothing such as hoodies
and tracksuits as they are in fashion so I may not need to buy any
specific outfits for the film. As well as this, the actors playing Jordan and
Jamie play football quite regularly and so they already own football
clothing and boots. Therefore I will not need to buy any outfits for the
characters.
However, I will need to purchase some props such as a prop gun which
will be used in scene 3 and 5. I will be able to purchase this from
websites such as Amazon or Ebay.
4. Different Outfits for Character - Ideas
Jamie's Outfit styles/ideas
Jordan – He starts off wearing casual clothing such as Jeans, a t-
shirt, a jacket and some trainers. When he is playing football he is
wearing some football clothing such as a Nike dri-fit t shirt with
some Nike tracksuit bottoms and some football boots. However,
when he begins to hang around with SK and Triggs he begins to
wear tracksuits with puffer jackets and hoodies as well as hats
which slightly hide his identity. This makes him seem as if he is a
completely different person and he is much more unapproachable.
The darker coloured outfits will be used towards the ending as it
shows that maybe he is dangerous and he isn’t the same as he used
to be due to all the crimes and activity he's been involved in with
the gang
Jamie – He is a character who loves his sport and he is seen twice wearing
football outfits. In the first scene where he is playing football with Jordan
and in the 4th scene where is jumped after coming back from his football
training. Apart from these outfits we do not see him again. The outfits will
have some colour such as blue or red which could portray his character as
being happier and having a brighter vibe/energy compared to Jordan.

5. Different Outfits for Character - Ideas
SK – The top boy in Wood Green will need an outfit which shows
he has a lot of power and influence in the gang. He makes all the
decisions and everything goes by him. Therefore he will be first
seen pulling up in front of Jordan in a nice car and Triggs will be
doing the dirty work for him. One of SK’s outfits may be some
designer jeans with an expensive jacket and t shirt as well as
chains and a nice watch to show of his wealth and power in the
gang. It also looks good to Jordan and influences him into joining
the portrayed glamorous lifestyle. However, he also does wear
tracksuits and not all designer clothes in some scenes.
Triggs – The co-leader of Wood Green. He has known SK for a
number of years and has worked his way up to being SK’s
partner however there is always a sense of jealousy with Triggs
as Jordan begins to hang around with SK more. Triggs will be
wearing some sort of tracksuit with a gilet or puffer jacket as
well as the smaller details such as gloves and jewellery which
makes him seem quite an aggressive confident sort of person.
