1. A few of the customers we have been working with during the period 1998-2012
DHL
We started by coaching the management team to set up a strategy to integrate an existing key account
management theory (by Huthwait) with tools and methods for creative thinking around sales planning,
tenders, customer follow up. The sales organization received a set of tools to improve their performance
in the day to day sales operation. This resulted in a 34% increase in sales and some mayor new
accounts.
AstraZeneca
Work started by training a group of internal facilitators to support the internal organization. During 12
months we certified eight people to run ideation workshops related to both internal processes as well as
product development challenges. In parallel with AZ initiating and building two new factories for
production of Nexium (follower to Losec) we work with the entire (product planning and production) staff
to create an innovative mindset that should go hand in hand with the new production facilities. This
includes the initial processes and procedures.
SCA
During a period of 24 months we ran +20 workshops with people from R&D, category management,
sales & marketing as well as their internal idea evaluation team. We trained 12 people to be able to run
ideation & concept workshops in all new projects (R&D and marketing). We linked our way of initiating
and running idea campaigns with the development and refinement of their internal idea management
system to achieve a seamless workflow from strategy-challenges-ideation-evaluation-implementation.
We also trained a group of 7 people to use the IDEO method (Observation-Brainstorming-Prototyping-
Implementation) for gathering external data to be integrated with their product roadmap.
We developed an IT-solution of some of our ideation/evaluation tools to be integrated with the
mindmapping software MindManager that was their preferred choice of project mgm tool.
Atria (Lithells, Sibylla, Ridderheims + 8 other brands)
During 18 months we ran 12 workshops related to product development and marketing and trained
internal managers as well as facilitators. We co-designed the process to make best use of e.g.
consumer insight reports as the starting point for product development as well challenges related to
packaging and promotion activities.
2. TUI Nordic (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland)
We trained all 1 400 employees in creative tools and methods including implementing a structure for
initiating and leading innovation. We co-designed their way of executing idea campaigns and co-design
the way their intranet was improved to aid the progress of ideas. Challenges included both totally new
product offerings as well as internal refinement of processes. As with a few other clients we designed a
complete toolbox for effective innovation work. Our assignment included putting in place a structure and
process for making vital parts of their strategic plans “hands-on” challenges looking for “Blue Oceans”
Zimmer Nordic (Sweden, Denmark, Finland)
Currently working with the Nordic management team (since 8 month) to develop a brand new innovation
strategy and tactical business plan. Challenge is to move the entire company from a product supplier to
a leading service provider for advanced surgery. Work will continue for another 6 months including an
innovation process for all three countries sales and marketing organizations.
LEAF (Malaco)
Working as a facilitator for generating new products and marketing campaigns. We are working closely
with Leafs PR & advertising agencies. Work also initiating cross-functional teams for an effective
ideation-innovation process.
