In sum, from 22 persons participants of the forum, we obtain 24 opinions for the
question “what you want to study?”; the 4% would like to study the topic of
Managing a Multimedia Language, the 21% prefer “Human Language
Technologies”, while the 50% are interested on the Managing Technology
(Working with technological tools: blogs, platforms, distance teaching, e-
portfolios, software, websites, podcast, translators) and the rest 25% would like to
learn the “ICT integration in language teaching”. For the second interrogative,
“How would you like to be the class” we count 29 opinions where the 48% would
like to have a practical class, the 14% would like to discuss the themes and to
share information, the 7% would like to work in teams and the 31% would like to
have a Interesting, dynamic, fun, creative, understandable.

                                 Our proposal

Taking into account that most of the class is eager to begin learning new
technology and the second most mentioned topic was Human Language
Technologies, we searched and found out the importance of these two, as similar
topics are mentioned in the books we found, an example is the chapter 2:
Computational linguistic of “Computer applications in second language
acquisition” which mentions the significance of making the learner familiarized
with the technology and maintaining a friendly communication between them.

For the purpose of language teaching, it is essential that we present dependable,
innovative material therefore the aids we apply for it must count with these assets.

Meaningful knowledge is gained by amusing experiences: in order to keep the
learner motivated the tools we use must be related, actual and relevant for the
user, in the book “Computer in education” it is pointed out that the use of
technology can make a learner much more motivated and enthusiastic about
learning, we conclude that the applying the appropriate computer tools can make
the difference in the learning-teaching experience.

The use of these technological resources provide the opportunity of experiencing
task that will develop each of the skills; listening, speaking, reading and writing,
so we propose that the tools that will be presented to us this semester fulfill the
needs of expanding these abilities for us as students and as future English
teachers and most of all for our future students.
