This unit plan aims to teach 22 fifth graders the basic functions and facts about the skeletal system. Students will watch videos, do webquests, label a skeleton poster, and create a booklet to learn that the skeletal system has over 200 bones, and to identify at least 15 specific bones and their names. The goal is for students to fully understand and accurately recall these core skeletal system concepts.
