2. John Adams is the second president of the United States of America, and the Vice
President of President George Washington when Washington was in office.
He was president from March 4, 1797 to March 4, 1801.
Born on October 19, 1735 in Braintree, Massachusetts.
Graduated in 1755 from Harvard College.
3. He was one of the people that signed
the Declaration of Independence and
was against the Stamp Act.
He convinced the army to have
George Washington as their General.

4. John Adams was the president of the United States from 1797 to 1801. Both
month and date was March 4.
He put restraints on the press and had aliens (people from different countries)
leave the U.S.
Trying to have a second term, he ran for president again, but failed. Thomas
Jefferson became the next president of the United States.
John Adams was delegate to the constitutional convention of Massachusetts in
1820.
He died in Quincy, Massachusetts in July 4, 1826.
He was buried in the old First Congregational Church which is now United First
Parish Church.
