Onda Communications founder, Diana Terry-Azios, is a born writer and written-word
enthusiast. Determined to turn her passion for writing into a practical career, she earned
a degree in journalism and became a writer and editor. Her work has appeared in such
publications as the Chicago Tribune, Hispanic, Texas Monthly, Latina Style, MediaPost,
Metromix.com and others. She authored of the Latina Guide to Small Business, and she
received national recognition for her fiction writing.
After several years spent in custom publishing, a niche industry that delicately straddles
journalism and marketing, she made the leap fully into marketing in order to further
expand her skill set. In marketing and PR roles, she discovered new purposes for
wordcrafting in the ability to shape messages to reach targeted audiences and build
meaningful buzz. She has worked with start-ups and established brands alike to gain
exposure in print, digital and WOM, all with the same result—Success.
