Motivation 
• Challenges for European Public Employment Services (PES): youth 
unemployment, demographic change, etc. 
• Career adaptibility as a promising approach 
• But this requires transformation of the individual & collective professional 
identity, both for the PES practitioners and their clients 
… which is a complex and continuous learning process

Motivation • Challenges for European Public Employment Services (PES): youth unemployment, demographic change, etc. • Career adaptibility as a promising approach • But this requires transformation of the individual & collective professional identity, both for the PES practitioners and their clients … which is a complex and continuous learning process

Objectives • to deliver comprehensive, sustainable, and cost-effective support for the facilitation of professional identity transformation as a complex and continuous learning process, on an individual, organisational and European network level • using a holistic tool suite combining and linking eCoaching, reflection, MOOCs, networking, analytical and learning support tools, leading to improved individual and organisational performance on employment counselling.

Baseline (selected) • MATURE: identification of guidance activities and indicators for collective knowledge development • IntelLEO: learning analytics for social embeddedness of workplace learning • MIRROR: reflection support concept & tools and privacy concepts • LAYERS: scalable scaffolding in informal learning

Key innovations • Empirically grounded and relevant understanding of facilitation (roles, activities) and identity transformation • Scalable & cost-effective solutions, combining reflection, coaching, creativity, and networking • Integrated indicator framework, both for usage within tools and for evaluating their effects (on the learning and on the performance level) • European MOOC for professional identity transformation and evidence on the effectiveness of MOOCs at the workplace of PES
