ABOUT
DrupalCamp Nigeria is an annual, volunteer driven, two-day conference intended to promote the awareness and
adoption of the Drupal open-source platform in Nigeria. This conference brings together drupalists, other related
open-source practitioners, corporate companies representatives to share their passion for the Drupal project and
other open-source technologies.
What is Drupal?
Drupal is a free open-source content management system (CMS) and content management framework. It is used
to build everything from personal blogs to enterprise applications. It is the most advanced web application
development framework to date. It is renounced for it extensibility, robustness and security, hence it is the platform
of choice for the worlds biggest governments, organizations and events. Millions of websites are powered by
Drupal, including
 Whitehouse.gov
 Grammys.com
 Weather.com
 The Economist
Drupal is constantly being improved by the combined efforts of thousands of dedicated developers that make up
the Drupal Community. (See www.drupal.org)
Who are the organizers?
The conference is organized by the Nigeria Drupal User Group with extensive sponsorship by corporate bodies and
individuals who shares the vision of the group.
What's the Agenda?
This years event will have trainings, informative sessions, BoF sessions and multiple opportunities to learn from the
community and how you can contribute back. The levels of expertise needed to participate ranges from beginners,
intermediate and advanced. The sessions are grouped under the following session tracks:

 Code & Development
 Community
 Devops
 Frontend & Design
 Security
 Site Building
Who can attend?
The conference is open to any one has any kind of interest in Drupal, web technology or open-source in general.
These includes students who are pursing a career in web technology, web practitioners interested in advancing their
skill sets, corporate bodies with the goal of building cutting-edge enterprise web applications using the best of
technologies, etc. Whether you are new to Drupal or an expert there is something for every body.
How much will it cost?
Attendance is completely free, except for the cost of transporting yourself to the venue. There will also be free
snack at break times. Thanks to our various corporate and individual sponsors who made this possible.
What can I bring?
