3. What is it?
Chito is a popular game or sport that with different names
and variants is conserved in different areas of Spain.
When was it invented?
It was played for the first time in 1902 in Madrid.
How to play it:
It consists of throwing a metallic disk against a cylinder
located at a distance of approximately 20 meters.
4. Main elements: The rules:
1. The chito: is a piece of wood
formed by two trunks of cone,
united by its smaller base.
2. The tostón: is an iron disc
with a rounded bevel.
3. The sheet: is the piece that is
placed on top of the chito.
1. There are two thongs ( one a little
heavier than other). The first one is used
to get closer, and the other ¨to give¨
2. The regulation stipulates that you have
to be separated by 22 meters or 22
strides.
3. The roll order is established by ¨throwing
by hand¨. The player who leaves the
thong closest to the duck starts the
game.
4. To win the starting order, only one thong
is thrown per player or pair
