3. Supporting Her Education Changes
A Nation (SHE-CAN)
● In order to accomplish its mission, Open A
Door helps women to obtain a college
education in the United States and receive
the mentorship they need in order to improve
their communities.
● In the coming years, Open A Door plans to
scale its model through the Supporting Her
Education Changes A Nation (SHE-CAN)
program.

4. Empowering Female Leaders
Designed to empower women leaders and bridge
the income divide, the SHE-CAN program
includes a new scholarship program to benefit
those countries with the greatest need.
The program encourages widespread participation
from universities and private donors alike, both of
which can help mold a new generation of female
leaders.
When fully implemented, the SHE-CAN network
will include 50 colleges and universities in
locations throughout the world.
