2. The type of images that I am going to use is
a mid-shot because I think they are both
very simple and can be very effective if the
images are taken correctly. This is the type
of shot that will be very effective for my rock
magazine as it will allow the audience to be
able to focus on the main aspects of the
model which is from the top half of their
body which shows that they can still see
what they are wearing. I feel that my
audience would like to see what the my
model would be wearing, and a mid shot
can show exactly this as it is also taken close
enough for the audience to be able to
recognise the model by showing their facial
expression hair and makeup.

3. I would like to include a full length shot of my model in my magazine
as I think this is a very effective way of being able to convey the genre
and message of my music magazine, as by taking full length shot it
shows the whole model, including every item of clothing and body
language, make-up and facial expression. As my magazine is going to
be based around the genre of rock music I think I would also choose
for my model to possibly replicate the body language of the model.
On the right hand side, you can see that I have included image that I
have taken of a full length shot, by my model using black clothes it
represents a rock style.

4. I think a close up shot such as the one below are
effective when they are placed on a double page
spread of an article within a magazine, it gives the
magazine a bold introduction to the individual that
the featured article is about. This is an idea that I
would like to incorporate in my magazine as I think
it would engage the reader due to the fact the
photograph would use direct address which can
sometimes make the reader feel inclined to
continue reading the magazine. By having a close
up shot of my model it will also allow me to clearly
convey the genre aspect of my magazine as the
image would primarily focus on the models facial
expression, hair and make up.

5. Incorporating a prop
To allow some different type of images I would like to use a few
shots that include a incorporate the use of a prop. Whether the
prop being used is simply for the model to be sitting on such as the
picture shown below, or the prop to be related to the category of
my magazine, which in this case in an rock magazine, for example a
microphone , guitar or a chair. I think that by using a prop can allow
ages to look totally different. Even if the type of shot being used is
the same as the previous photograph. I would also like to use a
prop that related to what my magazine is about (music) as this can
tie everything together.
