1. Descriptive Essay Of A Restaurant
Once I stepped inside the restaurant I automatically could hear the music playing at a moderate
level and the laughter of the customers. Right off the back the restaurant's ambiance had a positive
vibe. Mindful, it was a Saturday late afternoon. Mary Jane Burger and Brew is a local restaurant
trying to stay true to its past. The granddaughter of the original owner now runs the place with the
intention of serving good quality food where the ingredients are fresh, mouth watering, and surely
not filled with antibiotics and all that other genetically modified elements found in processed foods.
The vintage, rustic looking place, holds a small town atmosphere with a big taste.
The host sat my sister and I at a table in the middle of the dining area. A giant window let sunlight
flood into the room and the speakers provided a good backdrop of music to help engage
conversation. The restaurant itself seems fairly modern: leather seating, dark wood tables, and
mason jar for glasses. It is the epitome of a hang out spot for any teen, millennial, or elder
meetup. The staff caters to the needs of the customers and are always ready to help out in any
way possible. I started the meal off with a glass of sweet tea that never made it lower then the
halfway point. The waitress was always there with a pitcher of their home brewed sweet tea. The
tea itself was not too sweet, it had the subtle taste of the bitterness that tea should have. In other
words it did not taste like someone dumped a bag

I walk towards my mom's white toyota where my mom waits for me. She has a grim expression
on her face but at the moment I don't notice it. I collapse into the passenger seat and look behind
me to see that my sister wasn't here today. I assume that her friends mom picked her up from
school that day as my mom drives out of the school parking lot. "How was your day?" despite her
gloomy mood she fights to keep a smile and start our day to day conversations where we wrap up
our days on the way back home. Still oblivious to what's going on I answer with complaints about
the day not going fast enough for my liking. My mom just listens to me patiently, which is unlike
her since she usually throws in her own comments every now and then. We already arrive to our
apartment complex and we walk towards our door and inside i'm greeted with my moms friend
that I usually don't see often. Surprised I greet her and my excited younger sister glad to have us
back home. "How are you?" My moms friend asks and i quickly search through my memories to
remember her name. "I'm good, Geri thank you" I answer back politely and take a seat next to her
on the couch rather than do my usual after school routine. Geri and have small talk till my mom
joins us and takes over the conversation. I notice that they are speaking to each other on soft tones
not the usual type of conversation that my mom has with her friends that often everyone laughing
and speaking loudly to each other. Geri soon decides to

In fact, nature appears in its best form. It provides us with all kinds of pleasure.
Other things that I also love about spring are those smells that are widespread in nature. The air is
fresh and full of pleasant aromas of different flowers. When I am walking in the fields or any other
place during spring time, my noses catch a mixture of smells that really increases my strong love for
nature.
I will now say I am absolutely calm when I am listening, feeling, smelling, and looking at the spring
around me. Spring is my favourite season, and nature when it is spring is relaxing and comfortable.
The earth wears a green dress. Again it comes to life.

5. Descriptive Essay About My Best Friend
About Me! By: Jonna S. My Best friend My best friend is amazing! Ever since the first day of
school she's been there. Basically what happened was on the first day I was at silver hills and had
no idea who anyone was so i just sat at a table and she was like, "Hi I'm Daphnie what's your
name?," of course i said Jonna cause that's my name. Eventually we ran into each other at lunch
so we sat down and talked for awhile to each other and then we walked to my next class and I was
like wow you wanna be friends. She said of course cause i mean come on i'm amazing! Honestly
we had a lot of good memories together from the 6th grade and i'm very excited to create brand
new ones with her. She is amazing and I see perfection in her even though she disagrees i don't
care she is perfect in my eyes and i will always be there for her I don't care what happens between
us and i just wanna say thank you and i love you best friend! My Runaway! Hot air, windy breeze,
beating sun, blooming season and a nice boring day! The exotic yellow bus speeding through the
overpowering wind and it took a nice sharp stop. We got off the bus and that's when our
adventurous day started. But really, what we thought was a fun day, others thought we were crazy
and scared for us! For example, both of our entire households. This is how it all started. It was a very
casual afternoon throughout school. Nothing different from any other day, until we got on the bus.

6. Descriptive Paragraph About My Family
My mom's name is Lisa and she was a PTA but is now a stay at home mom. My dad's name is
Luis and he was a chemical and nuclear engineer, but now owns his own business. I have 3 sisters:
Angie, Silencia, and Mahalia. I also have 3 brothers: Matthias, Geminiah, and Elshaddai. Angie
works with my dad to eventually take over the family business. The rest of my siblings are in
school except for Elshaddai who is only 3. My family expects me to be a good example to my
younger siblings and encourage them. To do this they also expect me to do well in school and in
athletics. My mom is a very outgoing, loud, and energetic person. My dad is also very outgoing
and loud, but he has more of a serious side to him. Angie is really fun, but she also has a more
relaxed personality. Mahalia is very loud, active, and argumentative. Silencia is the most soft–spoken
and relaxed out of everyone. Matthias is very outgoing, loud, and active. Geminiah and Elshaddai
are both loud and very active. I have good relationships with everyone in my family. I do have
small disagreements with my siblings sometimes, but we all love each other a lot. I had a very
unusual childhood, but it was still fun. My childhood was unusual because it involved a lot of
training but that's what we did together as a family, and growing up I had friends that did the same
thing and we all enjoyed it.
In grade school I competed in a lot of powerlifting meets and got to travel all over the country to

7. My Best Day Essay : My Perfect Day
Have you ever wondered what a perfect day would be like? An everyday routine starts to get
annoying and boring, especially if you don't get a day off. At the moment, my routine is to wake
up early, get ready for school, go to school, and after a long day come back home. From the time I
get home which is around two in the afternoon and by the time I go to sleep, it all consists of doing
homework. Sometimes I wish I can at least take a day off and relax, with having no worries. The
idea of a perfect day for me should be a day to get rid of stress, and should be an unforgettable day.

dreamed of was going to be today. I looked at my...show more content...
In the meantime, while I was waiting for my food to get here I went to the kitchen to wash the

eating my orange chicken with rice. By that time, I was already in the fourth movie, all of a
sudden it was really dark outside, but I was not scared at all, even though I was home alone. Now
it was around ten at night and I had finished watching the Halloween series. I turned my tv off and
started playing really loud music on my speaker. I knew it was nighttime and the neighbors might
complain, but at the moment I didn't care about anything. I enjoy listening to depressing songs
specially from Coldplay which gets me in the mood to cry. My eyes began to close so I turned my
speaker off as well as the light and I went to sleep. At last, a perfect day for me should be different
from any ordinary day, and should enjoy it like as if it was my last. I see a perfect day as not
something outstanding, but more of like a lazy day. This day was one of the best days I've ever had
because it's been forever since I've taken a break. Many people might do something like this on a
regular day, but for me it was one of the days where I got to stay in bed, relax, and let all of the stress
out. Days like this doesn't hurt and everyone has their own ideal day, but for me is all about being
comfortable. As long as, I have a day off

I find it extremely tough to talk about myself and my personal traits. In order for me to dIscuss
who I am in an accurate manner then I must provide some basic background information on

grown up in a family that speaks only english so I find it interesting to go over to other people's

people has also opened my mind to new ideas. For example, in school when we work in group
projects we collaborate and communicate with people who think differently than us then work
together to figure out whose ideas will work the best and how to improve them.
Another factor that plays a part in why I am shaped how I am is my family's economic
circumstances. I have always had access to anything I needed and for that I have extreme
gratitude because I know some people have a lot of difficulty in life. Since I was born into a
family with such good economic circumstances I have been lucky to have lots of opportunities.
One Opportunity I had as a child was participating in taekwondo. I did taekwondo until I reached a

No matter how hard life gets for me and how chaotic things can become there has always been one
person that I can turn to, my mom. She's been a wealth of advice to call on when I'm clueless and
a shoulder to cry on when I'm down. Her compassion for others inspires me to be a better person
as does the guidance she has given me over the years. She's not afraid to give me a reality check

Heaven help you if you do anything to endanger her family. My mom also does not go soft on her
kids; she can be a formidable disciplinarian when she wants to and will not hesitate to set us

if you try. My mother is strong–willed and stubborn; when she sets her mind to something almost
nothing will stop her and what an impossible feat it is to change her mind on something. She is
very impatient; when she wants something done she wants it done at this very moment, no later.
She is idealistic and she enjoys the simpler things that life has to offer. She loves nature and would
love nothing more than to be living in a cabin in the mountains while listening to country music.
She does not pay much attention to news happening outside her local area and prefers to focus on
what's happening in her immediate area. From my mother I have learned how to be the person that
I am today. Through her I have learned the importance of family and that it is paramount to spend
time with them while I still have it. Even now I try to spend time with my family when I have the
opportunity to. Form her I have learned compassion for those around me and for animals. Even

12. Descriptive Essay About My Village
Wherever I am, I find it hard to resist the tempting call of my hometown. My hometown is a small
village located in Shandong province. There are about two thousand people in the village. Small as
it is, it's a very beautiful place and has its own folk culture. The weather is warm in winter and cool
in summer. It's a good place for tourism.
The most attractions in the village are the river around my hometown and the green hills opposite
the river. On the hills there are large tea plantations and fruit trees. The river, in which there are all
kinds of big and smooth cobbles, flows gurgling in four seasons, with groups of fish and shrimps
playing in the water. When spring was coming, the fields look like a green carpet, and the
willows by the river are putting forth a lot of tender branches. With breeze blowing, the long thin
branches gently brush the cool and refreshing water; there are groups of ducks having fun in the
river. Spring is also a season of sowing. When the parents are working in the field, the child are
playing all kinds of games near the river, such as swing, eagle catches chicken, seesaw and so on.
Summer follows spring. The children sit on the large stones in the river, where they pat the water
and make splashes. The sound of water, and the noise of the children's chatting and laughing are
mixed together. The birds in the woods are unwilling to be lonely, singing and dancing with joy. The
old people sat under the big trees talking about their life

There is always that one person that you have that knows all of your secrets, shares all of your
jokes, listens to all of your gossip and is simply someone you can call your best friend. I live with
that person, or at least I used to. Her name is Allison, my sister and my best friend. Looking back
at every single memory I have, she is there in some form or fashion. She is there holding my hand
my first day of preschool, wearing the same jean jacket as I because our mom loved it when we
matched. She is there on the basketball court with me during my very first game, helping calm my
nerves and stop my shaking. She is there holding me while I cry over my first heartbreak,
reassuring me that things will get better. Even after she graduated, leaving me in high school alone,
she is still there. She is at every game cheering me on from the stands and is always willing to help
me with things such as homework or listen to my constant rants about teachers.
I remember waking up every morning at 6:45 to the horrible shrill of country music blaring in the
bathroom that we shared, as Allison got ready for the day ahead. Now, the bathroom is quiet
because she is no longer there. She shares a different bathroom with a different person who now gets

The city that once had homed thousands and been the most economically successful country ever,
was now a contaminated wasteland. The land looked dry, destroyed and lonely. The morning
breeze felt like crying sorrows, and the grey deceitful sky awed down at us. In the deepest corner of
despair lies dystopia where hope dies. As someone looks through the eyes of the devil, they see his
utopia. Only visible by the dim light of the moon was the great wall. Beyond the wall? No one knew.
Stretching away from the wall was a humongous bridge that towered the wall. Standing tall on the
bridge was a tower, which had two circles that almost looked like eyes. Those mysterious, creepy
and dangerous looking eyes stared down at the city giving away a haunting look.
The reek of death hangs in the air throughout the land. Filling the mouths of those who lived in this

the sand. I felt million grains of sand underneath my feet and the cool breeze against my face.
Moreover, the tantalizing scent of the washed–up waves, coconut, and pineapple are all mixed into
one. As I opened my eyes, I was amazed by how easily fantasy and reality intertwined at that
moment. It was like continuing a dream after waking up. So I dragged myself up and turn my
head to the east. While the sky in the opposite direction was still dark, the dawn on the east side
already broke. A mixture of yellow and orange on the horizon beneath a dark neon blue ocean of
night had begun to peek out. As the sun continuously rose, all of the purple and deep blue faded
away, and the sun took its mighty position at the top of the sky, shining so very blindingly beautiful.
After I watched the sunrise, my mood lifted. Notwithstanding, I still feel threatened for I got
trapped on an island. I stood there for a moment and tried to figure out how I got to this island. A
series of quick flashback of a shipwreck, and a big storm. Consequently, I have a severe headache, so
I decided to sit down in the sand. While sitting down, I observe the island and find that I was
surrounded by water and some other islands. The water around the island was as clear as crystal,
to the point I can see the depths of the sea. Again, I dragged myself up and turn to the back; it
seemed like a tropical paradise. There were multitudes of greenery, lush foliage that looked like they
were painted on.
I walk deeper into the island. Nowhere, the sound of the birds started to raise up. It brought
freedom and happiness to the mind. Beautiful flowers in reds, yellows, purples, and pinks lounged
happily along the banks of small streams. Following the streams, it allowed me to hear the playful
sound of the water lapping on the rocks, and the sound of leaves rustling when the wind blew
gently, bringing with it a feeling of peace and tranquility. Continuing through the trees, my stomach

suddenly arises on my left side so I made my way toward the fruity smell,

Narrative Essay
The air was filled with salt and warm sunlight. The waves were crashing against the Hawaiian sand
causing a beautiful and relaxing sound. With flapping wings and squawking noises, seagulls were
stalking tourists in the search of food. The soft, hot sand was soothing to the touch. The palm trees
danced in the swaying wind and the aroma of distant barbecues and sunscreen wafted in the air. As a
native Floridian, the thought of a Hawaiian vacation was appealing. Hours of waiting began to
accumulate when I was informed that my flight to Hawaii had been rescheduled. My frustration built
as I sat and anticipated the start to my vacation. After the airplane trip to the islands, I...show more

Crowds of people began to funnel in to this one location on the beach. I imagined that an animal
had washed up on the shore and could not get back into the water. My curiosity grew, and I left my
chair to follow the path of everyone else down the shoreline.
Upon reaching the scene, I became aware of what happened. I stared down at a little girl who was
lying face up and was unresponsive to family members calling her name. It was evident that she
had drowned and was on the edge of death. Life guards began to pound on her chest and start chest
compulsions. She continued to stay motionless. Quickly, lifeguards began the operations of CPR.
These long and tiring procedures made the lifeguards physically tired. The rest of the family
bickered back and forth on whose fault this was. "Why couldn't you just watch her and do what you
were told?" I heard behind me. The father screamed, "It was not my responsibility to do that, it was
yours!" The clear frustration began to build and caused more confusion.
The lifeguards circling around the little girl seemed frightened. Leaning closer to hear the rumors
being spread throughout the crowd, I unintentionally noticed the disturbing sound of gargling from
the little girl. She had regained consciousness, but could not breathe due to the water trapped in her
lungs. Policemen arrived on the beach and began to push back the imaginary boundaries
surrounding the circle of lifeguards. The police advised everyone to leave the beach
