D-D-D-Does your student stutter? Does he/she possess
stage fear? Before diving deeper into the nitty-gritties of
speech therapies, it is imperative for us to understand the
factors that scare the kid.
Give the term a lighter aura for the kids to avoid
magnifying the thought in their heads.
Guide them to reduce the magnitude of the term
Get to business straightaway and practice on the slip ups,
not by repeating, but by combining alternative phrases.
Encourage the kids to Study less, but practice more
Kids will get a hang of things confidently when they
face it in smaller groups. Prepare the kids for the
smaller tests before they hit the big podium.
Break the students into smaller groups
Interactive, engaging, and mind boggling games distract
the students from fears, thereby enabling them to remain
confident throughout the speaking session.
Develop impromptu games for increased spontaneity
Encourage the student to talk about shapes, patterns,
and colours while aiding them towards an open-minded
approach towards life, beyond mere academics.
Point at surroundings for closer observation
