Nebula - Andromeda Evaluation
Owen and I both agreed on the high end of the water market from the very start
and this made our task ever much easier as all our ideas were similar, yet fresh ideas
were always brought to the table constantly.
We found a bottle design we loved and we both agreed that this would be the
basis of Andromeda. We loved this bottle because it was very simple yet the glass
cylinder made it look very high class and sophisticated. The name Andromeda, like
Nebula, is simple and works, they are both parts of the galaxy that are beautiful and
this is why we named our water this. I don’t feel that there was anything that I would
personally change as both Owen and I fell in love with the design we had created
and both name and product reflect what wewanted themtoo which was simplicity
yet high class.
I took a lead in creating our print adverts and our visual advert. This was because we
both agreed in our team I was more advanced with the Adobe Software that we
need to use to create both of these. I was also a main part in the designing of our
bottle that we both love very much. I amvery happy with the roles I had in the team
and feel that both Owen and I would agree that the work was split evenly and that
we would both contribute were our contribution was needed. I believe we both
played to our strengths throughout the task, Owen is more skilled in creating and
putting together pitches, were as I am better at writing scripts, using Photoshop and
premiere pro. This arrangement worked well as we had little confrontation about
anything and supported each other’s ideas fully.
Owen and I, being best friends, got on perfectly throughout the task and we share
and enjoy very similar things which made this task easier due to there being little
arguments over ideas and we would both pull our wait throughout the whole task.
We had both heard of the brand ‘Voss’ and this brand is where most of our
inspiration came from and as we both already fans of the brand it made ideas and
roles easy to navigate and control.

All three of our print adverts excelled our initial thoughts of what they would look like
and this pleased us both greatly. The designs are elegant and present what we
consider looks like a high class water and peers loved the look of these adverts. We
made the adverts simple in order to reflect the simple design of our water and this
came across well we feel.
We both delivered our pitch strongly and with confidence. The scripts and
PowerPoint covered all areas of our water and the facts were given to our audience
with confidenceand wereconsistently precise. The audience responded well to the
pitch and were very impressed. Good follow up questions were addressed to us
however all of these were met with a quick and good response that impressed
them. I took the role of making sure the right slide was on screen whilealso delivering
my part of the presentation this was harder than I thought however I felt I kept
control of the situation and remained calm and professional.
I personally feel there is nothing I would change about the task we completed and
feel we delivered the best product and pitch we could of. One thing however that
could have been improved was our visual advert, we did complete this however
there werecertain problems with the frame rate and although I feel our advert was
of a high standard I do wish it could have been available for our pitch. However
overall I very much enjoyed the assignment and fell that I have learnt a lot of
valuable skills that I can carry out in later life, the main one being my confidence
when speaking to, what I consider a large crowd.
