1. Today before school I told my mom that I was not feeling good. “ Mommy don’t make me go to school. My throat HURTS!!!!”
2. But she made me go anyway and I was not a happy camper. “ It’s going to be your fault when I get all the other kids sick.”
3. At school I met a friend, her name is Sarah. “ My name is Amanda, do you want to sit next to each other?”
4. I ended up having fun at school. I like my teacher and new friends. I asked Amanda over to play. “ Do you want to come over to my house tonight?”
5. I told my mom that at school I made friends and that Amanda was coming over that night. “ PLEASE! PLEASE! PRETTY PLEASE CAN SHE COME OVER?”
6. My mom said no because she thought I was sick. “ No I only said that because I did not want to go to school!”
7. “ I know sweetie, you can have your friend over, but no more faking sick” Mom said. “ I know mom, I won’t ever pretend I am sick again. I like school. ”
