which fits perfectly with
the trailer.

● The shots are very
contrasting as they show
the same character
looking completely
different.

the upper class.
● Along with opposite of the main character seeming common shows a comical
theme suggesting the main character does not fit in with the world of the story.
● Towards the end of the trailer the pace slows down and longer shots show the
main character with a man being romantic this flows well with the song that is
played throughout the trailer as the music also slows down.
10. Focus (2015)
● The trailer begins with
asynchronous soft music
which does not match
the shot of a scary man
driving at full speed and
crashing.
● The trailer begins at a
slow pace with a
voiceover of the main
character explaining his
difficult criminal lifestyle.
● The shots are mostly in
slow motion.
11. ● As the female character is introduced the mood of the trailer becomes comical since the main male
character and female character begin to bounce off each other and show how well the film flows.
● The inertitiles show the names of the actors
● The non-diegetic music changes to sad slow music and the mood of the trailer changes as emotional
and stressful shots are shown. This shows the dynamic of the film and the contrast of different
themes of emotion, comedy and action.
