Media Kit Plan for HiPi Fotos
1. Stephany Valkenburg Mark Bjornson Media Kit 12/04/2009 HiPi Fotos is a new traveling photography venture. The main objective of HiPi Fotos is to sell high quality photos to attendees of specialty events. Attendees will have the option to purchase their photo on a flash drive or as a print. HiPi Fotos will also use this flash drive as a marketing tool that they can provide to the event coordinators. The event coordinator will be able to provide information about their event on the flash drive along side the photo. Our media kit will consist of a flash drive with HiPi Fotos logo and the events logo that may participate with HiPi Fotos. The flash drive will contain information about HiPi Fotos and present how the event coordinators can use the flash drives as a media outlet to market their event. To create our media kit we will be in close contact with HiPi Fotos owners. The information they provide us will be our main source of research. For further research we will also contact local event coordinators Visit Spearfish. Contacting event coordinators of the Black Hills area will allow us to network with other professionals and gain important information on local events. HiPi Fotos is a new company that has not gained any revenue, so initially, advertising value equivalency does not apply to the company. By providing HiPi with a media kit, we will help the company network with the event coordinators that they need to be in contact with for future business. The main goal of the media kit is to help promote sales by having the event coordinators participate in the flash drive sales. As an incentive for the event coordinators HiPi Fotos will create a still-framed video that will capture the attendees at the event. The Flash Drive will also consist of examples of material that each event coordinator can put on the flash drive. This will consist of sample posters, coupons, event schedules, and general advertising for the event. The media kit will also contain a press release and video explaining the companies objectives. This video will act as an executive summary and show the event coordinators everything that HiPi Fotos was to offer. The video will introduce both owners and show the sample still framed video. HiPi Fotos is expected to launch by June of 2010. Our media kit deadline to be completed is set for January 2010. This is the time frame because this is when vendors can start contacting events for the following year. This media kit will not only help HiPi Fotos network with event coordinators, its unique aspects will help increase photo sales for the venture as well. The media kit that we will provide HiPi Fotos will help introduce the company to local and regional event coordinators. With a proper media kit HiPi Fotos will be able to network with multiple festivals and provide each event coordinator with a valuable service and help not only promote their own company but HiPi Fotos as well.
